QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

Have you ever taken a Personality Test ?

Yes - unfortunately, I failed.

Do you ever drink milk ( as in milkshakes or a glass of milk ) ?

I love milk. I can drink it by the pint.

Are you a bad loser ?

No - unless it's on Call of Duty on Xbox Live, when I have been known to act like a petulant child.

Who was better , Flipper, Lassie, or Skippy ?

Gentle Ben was better than any of them.

Do you like Turkish Delight ?

No, it tastes like soap.

Is there a movie ending that left you feeling frustrated, and thinking ' that's just not right ' ?

The Matrix Trilogy. Well, the last 2 films actually. I reckon someone else will come up with a better example and I'll kick myself for not coming up with it myself.

Look out of the nearest window. What's the most interesting thing you can see ?

The Adult Shop over the road!

Do you lick the foil top on a yoghurt ?

Yep. It pisses my kids off when I do that because it's normally their yoghurt and they want to do it.

Can you juggle 4 balls ?

Nope.

What makes you nostalgic ?

Reading back old threads on TWF for a start! I also like TimeHop which brings back a lot of memories.

Did you have a favourite teacher in school, if so , why that particular teacher ?

Yeah - my Latin teacher who was a GENUINE eccentric. The school Chaplain - he was nuts. I remember having to go to his flat once to pick up a book and he answered the door in a nightie and hat - with bobble on the end. His teaching style was memorable - example - how to spot an infinitive in a Latin sentence:

"When you are driving along the road, and a ball bounces in front of your car, you apply the brakes. Because after a ball, a brat will follow - and you don't want to damage your bumper. It is the same in Latin."

He was an absolute fruitcake.

Do you ever eat Spam sandwiches ?

Spam is horrible. Makes me think of Monty Python as well.

Have you ever taken a Personality Test ?
No. Why would anyone?

Do you ever drink milk ( as in milkshakes or a glass of milk ) ?
Yes. Milkshakes mainly.

Are you a bad loser ?
Not bad, just annoyed.

Who was better , Flipper, Lassie, or Skippy ?
Flipper.

Do you like Turkish Delight ?
No. Horrible.

Is there a movie ending that left you feeling frustrated, and thinking ' that's just not right ' ?
Yes, but I can't remember what it is off the top of my head! Useful I know.

Look out of the nearest window. What's the most interesting thing you can see ?
The River Trent.

Do you lick the foil top on a yoghurt ?

Can you juggle 4 balls ?
3 is my limit.

What makes you nostalgic ?
Britpop.

Did you have a favourite teacher in school, if so , why that particular teacher ?
Our IT teacher Mr. Alliss. He was mental. Used to put a hard hat on and headbutt the wall shouting "Hello wall!" if no-one answered him.

Do you ever eat Spam sandwiches ?
I don't mind it but I prefer ham.

Have you ever taken a Personality Test ?
Yes, a fair few employers insist on them nowadays. Pointless given the meaningless rubbish outcomes.

Do you ever drink milk ( as in milkshakes or a glass of milk ) ?
I drink milk all the time. Probably my favourite drink.
Are you a bad loser ?
Sometimes. Depends who I'm playing, what's at stake, & how much I'm enjoying the game.
Who was better , Flipper, Lassie, or Skippy ?
I can only relate to lassie here. Had a dog just like lassie once (took over from a friend who lost their home). When I'd walk her, it was amazing how many kids would stop, point & say/whisper "lassie".
Do you like Turkish Delight ?
No. More pointless rubbish.
Is there a movie ending that left you feeling frustrated, and thinking ' that's just not right ' ?
Lots of them. First LOTR made me so angry in the cinema - "that's not a fucking ending" I shouted.
Look out of the nearest window. What's the most interesting thing you can see ?
Fuck all. My window is onto a blue wall.
Do you lick the foil top on a yoghurt ?
Not usually. Rarely eat yoghurt - not a big fan tbh.
Can you juggle 4 balls ?
Snigger...No.
What makes you nostalgic ?
A lot of things. Mainly things to do with my grandad & nan. Recently, I've been really enjoying my mom & dad visiting me now I've finally properly moved out. I think my dad has really loved it when I've been asking his advice/lots of how to.. stuff, & to teach me things. We were too similar in the same house & clashed, but I love having them over & their help & support now.
Did you have a favourite teacher in school, if so , why that particular teacher ?
One who was male, & funny (mr yates). Another who was down to earth, & very approachable (mr sherrington, though he gave me detention once & I didn't think fairly). Another who, despite there being no need whatsoever, & despite teaching science came to watch our table tennis team in a tournament, when all the games staff couldn't even be arsed to sign the entry form or pay attention (take a bow mr Simpole, never forgotten that moment when you walked in. The whole team appreciated it.) Oh, & Miss Gregory, who was fit!

Do you ever eat Spam sandwiches ?
Er, no.

Do you lick the foil top on a yoghurt ? - no

Can you juggle 4 balls ? - struggle with 2

What makes you nostalgic ? - watching the DVD of the old cine films my dad took when we were young

Did you have a favourite teacher in school, if so , why that particular teacher ? - the young (well at least 20 yrs younger than any of the other teachers) english teacher I had for O Level. A real maverick, who's face did not fit in a staid public school & he only lasted 2 years. Anyone who can enthuse a bored group of 15/16yr old boys to all pass english literature O Level which included Chaucer's Prologue to the Canterbury Tales in old english has something about him.

Do you ever eat Spam sandwiches ? - love them, though battered spam fritters are better

Have you ever taken a Personality Test ?

Probably taken one online when bored but can't remember what it was or what the outcome was. I remember taking a political compass test if that counts?

Do you ever drink milk ( as in milkshakes or a glass of milk ) ?

Yes. Milk is great, as are milkshakes.

Are you a bad loser ?

I used to be. Losing is a feeling I am used to now.

I vaguely remember watching them as a kid. Probably Lassie.

Do you like Turkish Delight ?

Yuck. I can't stand it.

Is there a movie ending that left you feeling frustrated, and thinking ' that's just not right ' ?

Loads but nothing I can recall off the top of my head! Apart from 'The Butterfly Effect'. I saw one version on DVD that had what I thought was a good ending then watched it on TV a couple of years later and the ending was completely different and a load of shit! I had a mini rant about 'what the fuck was that? That's not how it ends?!'

Look out of the nearest window. What's the most interesting thing you can see ?

Not a lot. There's the factory of the company I work for or the yard of the crane company next door.

Do you lick the foil top on a yoghurt ?

Always.

Can you juggle 4 balls ?

No. I can do 3 just about.

What makes you nostalgic ?

Christmas.

Did you have a favourite teacher in school, if so , why that particular teacher ?

Yeah Mr Nixon the Maths teacher. He had a knack of making the lesson really enjoyable but you managed to learn a lot at the same time too. It also helped that I sat next to a very attractive girl in that lesson! Also, Mr Fradgley our German teacher was ace as he was completely NUTS. I remember he sat on a desk and fell through it once which was highly amusing.

Do you ever eat Spam sandwiches ?

I don't think I've ever (knowingly) eaten Spam.

Yes our TD teacher , big "Bob Cunningham", he was fun, but was not overse to slapping you hard round the ear, or skimming his metal ashtray at us hooligans at the back of his class when we were giving it some, but he taught me about real life at a very young age.

Do you ever eat Spam sandwiches ?e

In greece with a dod of fetta cheese it's the olive picking staple sandwich

I know i screwed this up big time, put i all in bold and couldn't get the bold answers to go away, ah well at least it's abnormal, which for me is normal, n'st ce pas?

What food can literally make you want to gag when you put it in your mouth ? I wont accept salad cream !

For me its semolina, tapioca, and rice pudding. All 3 can turn me into a non stop heaving machine.

Salad cream doesn't make me heave, it is dreadful stuff though. Bad enough lamping it on a chicken sandwich or whatever but ruining sausages - kings amongst food - is unacceptable. ;)

Proper heave stuff - I'll go with rice pudding/semolina as well. Nuts literally kill me too so there would be some heaving involved. Really not a fan of asparagus either.

Gorgonzola. How the fuck can people find that edible? It's probably the only thing I can think of that I can't think of any redeeming features. I hate Olives but at least I understand why others like them. I sort of wish I did TBH.

Liver/kidneys are foul but that's more the texture I think.

So gorgonzola - 'food' from satan's colon.

DW , get a warm sausage on a piece of toast, spread on it mustard thats been mixed with salad cream !! What do you have with a sausage then ?

Olives are rank, they don't make me sick though. I remember when Subway first opened in Fallowfield - one of the first in the country - and not having a clue what I was doing I ordered a sandwich with 'everything'. That was a time consuming meal having to pick those bastards out.

Ha ha Langers in that case, god bless satan and his colon, I love it, 2nd only to stilton.

Liver is brill and grilled lambs kidneys for breakfast, erotic food

What is this alien nonsense?!

Mustard or brown sauce (Daddies or HP, one of the few things I never compromise on brand) or nothing. I can accept people having ketchup but it's not for me. Mayonnaise based sauces or their lower class equivalent have no business being near a sausage.

Im not keen on Olives either. Hate them on a pizza.I can eat cottage cheese now , as long as its got pineapple in it.

Have you ever taken a Personality Test ?- Yes they seem to be a standrd part of the interview and or promotion processes these days.

Do you ever drink milk ( as in milkshakes or a glass of milk ) ? Yes but ARLA lactose free. Hate goats milk or soya

Are you a bad loser ? Yes. Whilst I kid myself that I will play to win and accept defeat gracefully I tend not to be wired that way. Worse with cricket when bowling

Who was better , Flipper, Lassie, or Skippy ? Lassie. Skippy was a noob and Flipper was a bit disadvantaged on land!

Do you like Turkish Delight ? Yes red or white not the lemon

Is there a movie ending that left you feeling frustrated, and thinking ' that's just not right ' ? Several. The first Tolkien animated film about the hobbit made in the late 70's was one when they ran out of money. All three matrix films were frustrating. Star Wars also underwhelms

Look out of the nearest window. What's the most interesting thing you can see ?Trees

Do you lick the foil top on a yoghurt ? Without fail

Can you juggle 4 balls ? Nope

What makes you nostalgic ? Music and the smell of baking

Did you have a favourite teacher in school, if so , why that particular teacher ? There is no such thing. It is an oxymoron with regard to my schooling.

Do you ever eat Spam sandwiches ? No its mystery meat. I would sooner not bother. Its reclaimed rubbish

I'm with DW all the way here. Why would you abuse sausages like that?? Daddies sauce all day long.

Also, olives are evil. PURE EVIL. As is celery.
