QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

I think it's 1.

You win the deciding point of a tie breaker on an ace. You lose all your service games by foot faulting every serve and your opponent double faults all of theirs ending the set 6 all.

And the set is won legitimately without any penalties from the Umpire.

Is it some bollocks like 0, the opponent serves once and retires, meaning you win by default?

The number is right but the reason not. A foot fault would be called as you serve so you would be hitting the ball.

2

serve goes down, ace. Opponent doesn't like it and calls the umpire a cunt. Default point.

Second time that repeats its default set isn't it?

1 is the answer.

If you swing at the ball and miss this is a fault. Do this twice in a row and you lose the point. Do it eight times in a row and you lose the game. You do this for all of your serving games. If your opponent faults all of his points, then it would go to a tie breaker. In the tie break the same applies (swings and misses + double faults) until 7-6 in the tie break. Then the ace (as per Johnny's answer) is served.

Welcome to the UK Davis Cup trials, circa 1991

Even if your opponent stays on then 4 first serve aces will do it

Doesn't actually matter whether you serve first either - 4 incredible passing shots from the first time your opponent gets it in play and you are there (actually if your opponent is serving first & double faults 4 times in a row the number of hits for you is 0)

We always keep eggs in the fridge. Always have done. I probably copied it off my parents. I did read that they should be kept cold though - on the shelf of the fridge not the door.

We don't ever keep sauce in the fridge.

The very first series of Deliah is on iPlayer at the moment. From 1978. You'll be please to hear that the first episode is all about eggs and she goes into great detail as to why you shouldn't keep them in the fridge.

Why do fridges come with trays for Eggs!! The bastards are trying to kill us

My washing machine has a billion settings, doesn't mean I use them...(I could do I suppose out of intrigue)

The only condiment that belongs in the fridge is Branston. That's better cold.

As I'm not likely to ever watch that, what is the reason you shouldn't keep them in the fridge?

I read you shouldn't keep them in the door as the temperature fluctuates but we keep them on the shelf.

- The yolks break too easily if they're refrigerated

- Egg shells are porous so they absorb other foods in the fridge at the same time

- They taste sour if they're kept too cold

- You don't need to so why would you
