QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

Those of you who enjoy Chinese takeaways and eating in their restuarants, has it put you off using them again in the future? ( being as it all started with the Chinese eating bats and shit, also seeing the live meat market photos that are going around)

How many toilet rolls are currently in your household?

I'd rather eat Kennys bogies tbh. I will make my own Chinese before I ever had a bought one in the future. Yes I know they aren't all the same, and they don't all eat bats, cats and dogs and snakes and I shouldn't tar them all with the same brush but, no thanks.

9 in the house atm.

1) No as they don't import stuff from there (at least I don't think so) and I'm certainly not eating bat or any weird shit like that. Was odd though yesterday seeing the Chinese on Birches Bridge properly open, then again if no-one went there (as they're not supposed to) then they'd shut.

2) 10 and a half, I think. Purchased in February. A 12 pack will last me 5-6 months easily.

No, mainly as I am not a fucktard (although some may think I am one)

Well after raiding Asda last week....I believe we have a pack of 12 rolls in our house #stockpiling

Bloody hell DW, don't you have a poo everyday? :icon_lol:

Yeah but unlike seemingly most of the population, I don't need to use half a roll to tidy up afterwards.

In the army you're taught to use a couple of squares a time. I wouldn't go that far but there's a lot of needless waste. Every woman I've ever lived with seems to eat the bloody stuff.

It's just put me off. But then I'm a fucktard .The Indian will be seeing more of us though.

If your local Chinese was in Wuhan I would understand. If you are basing this on how animals are treated in the homeland of the owners then I think Veganism is the best option for us all

I don't eat it but I do use three for a wee and it all depends on me poo, sometimes it might need 5, depending on what I've eaten :icon_lol:

I've been thinking hard about it tbh. Seen so many horrific things lately, home and away. It's enough to put anyone off. Although not sure the rest of the family would do it with me.

The local one is closed now, but can't remember when I last bought in there anyway. Have a wok & will try to do my own (doesn't always work out well) & not sure that their food is that phenomonal anyway. Most of the staff will have lived in the UK longer than they were in China (if they ever were).

5 & a current one on the go - will do me for quite some time
.

What are you all missing the most during these times?

Partner, friends and family.

What are you finding yourself doing to pass the time during these times?

Working, getting trashed at Cricket 19 and Netflix.

Are you online shopping, or still going to the shops during these times?

Once a week shop.

Do you find yourself drinking less alcohol or more during these times?

Trying to drink no more than one a day. Probably less overall considering there isn't a pub option.

Are you using your 1 daily outside excercise?

No.

Being in the house all day do you tend to pick at food more than you would otherwise?

No. No biscuits, chocolates or crisps in the house. Largely down to two proper meals a day, with fruit/nuts if peckish in-between.

Has your sleeping pattern changed during these shit times?

Yes - drastically. Struggling to drift off and waking up continually in the night which is not like me at all. Has a real impact on me as I'm normally 8 hours a night comfortably.

What are you all missing the most during these times?

company, especially having a chat with the village oldies down at the harbour over a cypro, and listening to wolves over their radio comms, it became quite an occasion

What are you finding yourself doing to pass the time during these times?

Am trying to teach myself to paint in the old japanse style, but i am still not loose enough to get the right effect. am also fiddling about making lamps but not with the same enthusiasm as normal, it just seems that having to stay in has robbed me of the old creative juices

Are you online shopping, or still going to the shops during these times?

on line shopping...ha ha ha ha, i pop down to the harbour to our little supermarket, and went to "big town" today for the bank and Lidl, a complete ghost town with only about ten people in Lidl although well stocked with everything. Mostly oldies in Lidl, who wear a mixture of masks and/or gloves and have no feckin idea how far two metres is.

Do you find yourself drinking less alcohol or more during these times?

Less, I never drink alone at home anyway (except for a seriously large one after the man city game) and with all the bars and tavernas shut, I hav had a couple of cypros once in two weeks at the house when a friend came to visit. She's German and understands two metres as a form of distance, and yahoo she is coming again tomorrow

Are you using your 1 daily outside excercise?

I walk maybe six or eight Kms a day usually here, but since i do it only about every third or fourth day now, i have managed to blow a knee hoiking a heavy load of stuff up the mountain, so now have to take it easy

Being in the house all day do you tend to pick at food more than you would otherwise?

Yep, picking and snacking more than i ever did, but still trying to ensure the proper cooked dinner at night....when i can be arsed ha ha ha . any kind of chocolate lasts about ten seconds in this house at the moment

Has your sleeping pattern changed during these shit times?

Certainly i am getting up later in the morning ,around nine/nine thirty instead of my instinctive seven o clock, and that throws the rest of the day out of kilter. pissing the cats off with a later breakfast but i have told them it's a crisis....and then learnt cat for "fuck off"

That sounds like me. Go to bed feeling really tired, get in there and then finding it hard to fall asleep. Finally drop off, then wake 2.30/3, and then in and out of sleep until 6. Restless sleep, and dreaming.

I'm going to take a hot chocolate with me tonight and read a chapter of my book. See if that helps.

ha ha tried to put my replay in bold questions and fucked it up twice so bugger it.

What are you all missing the most during these times? Just living a normal life really.

What are you finding yourself doing to pass the time during these times? Up until today I was still at work so that kept me busy. This is my first day of furlough but the kids are keeping us busy.

Are you online shopping, or still going to the shops during these times? Trying to do click & collect but getting a slot is ridiculous. Going to the shop for top ups as we are a family of 4 plus we are dropping round food to both my Dad and his girlfriend every week.

Do you find yourself drinking less alcohol or more during these times? Same. I never really went to the pub unless I was going to a match anyway and don't drink much at home apart from water.

Are you using your 1 daily outside excercise? I was walking to and from work every day. As today was my first day at home we went for a long family walk. Did the PE with Joe this morning too which nearly killed me.

Being in the house all day do you tend to pick at food more than you would otherwise? Dont know yet, haven't been at home long enough. Need to make the food last so will probably pick as little as possible.

Has your sleeping pattern changed during these shit times? No. My stress levels have come down a bit now so I'm sleeping ok.

No worries, we figured it out . I'll swap you some Mars Bars for your Danish Blue :icon_lol:

No way darlin, i have plenty of both, bought a load of mars and bounty minis at Lidl today

As for chinese i always cook my own, even in Athens , except for dim sum, which i seriously overindulge in, when i ever get to the metropolis,
got 3 toilet rolls, i buy them in packs of two and there is no shortage here, so i pop down to the harbour when i am getting short, i've got a bumper roll of kitchen towels if i ever miscalculate.
