QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

Sorry to steal your limelight Sue but let's get to the important question.

Who is your favourite forum member?

addendum: on the hangover front i was a bit squiffy the day after 4 bottles of St Emilion with Frog 1, last summer, funny i thought the late cypro or two would fix it, but no!

4 bottles of wine !!! Christ , I am a light weight !!

I get terrible hangovers. Last time I went down to a game I went out the night before and almost spewed in the Wolves museum the next morning. :shake:

I was still feeling rough by the time the game ended although that might have something to do with being knocked over and sat on when Sam Ricketts scored the winner.

I couldn't possibly divulge that James !!

Ask me another ! :)

What do you drink when out ?

Depends where I am. Out for a family meal I generally have soft drinks. Out with the wife, either wine or a spirit (Rum or JD). At Wolves games, recently started to drink pints again but not many.

In the house, I always have some Rum, JD and Vodka available just in case I fancy it but I can go weeks without drinking

Well that's only 2 each!

My lack of hangovers is helped by the fact that at my age I find that I fall asleep before I have drunk enough to cause them.

Mike's ability to keep going after the Carlisle celebration at the season end put me to shame (though he was a trifle subdued next morning)

I dont think I could sit in a pub or go out for a meal and just sip on a soft drink. Sounds bad of me doesnt it !! With a meal I enjoy a wine, down the pub I enjoy a wine or a beer, in the house I enjoy a glass of wine, in the pooI I enjoy a beer, never these days do I fancy any spirits.

What's like knowing that the Steelers will once again lose to the Ravens?

And I repeat, I will answer that one once the Seasons started. I cant answer that before a touch downs even been scored !!

Ask me another !!

It stems from having a lot of years not being able to drink, so I am used to it now and its the norm for me.

What's the worst drinking experience you've had?

When I was about 18. Started out on lager, then drank a bottle of Tia Maria ,then started on Pernod. I honestly thought I was gonna die . Although I have drunk lager since, the mere smell of either of the other two mentioned and I heave my guts up.

My first New Year session, lager, pernod, tia maria, various whiskies......it was about minus 5 outside, walked into our last pub and they had a log fire on the go, it was so warm..... got a pint, slumped up the fruit machine..........and threw up everywhere and passed out \o/ Rough as fuck the next day

That's how my hangovers tend to go now, just write off the day after a session, nothing is going to happen.

Managed to get by with half a day hangover on Sunday though, woke up about 12, lay down under the shower for about 45 minutes and then dragged myself along to a BBQ, after managing to get a bit of food down me and surviving the urge to throw up it cleared up.
