QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

I could probably bring myself to grow some stuff in pots as it doesn't involve any digging (I hate gardening - I'd gladly pave over my lawn) although my daughter would probably sabotage them at some point.

Do you make a bit more of an effort in appearance on Christmas Day than you would normally, or do you slum it in ya jim jams and sit down to lunch looking like youve been dragged through an edge backards and needing a shave ?

I make an effort everyday... ok I don't but I do for work and Christmas

Are you any good at taking things apart and putting them back together ?

I'd like to think so

When was the last time you ate a banana ?

A long time ago

I grow herbs in a big pot (not pot in a pot), mint, thyme, rosemary (2 types), sage and basil. Pot them and water them, I leave them outside the back door, it's no more difficult than that ad the difference it makes to my food is immeasurable.

I can't grow parsley for some reason, don't know why.

I can't grow peas, & it annoys me as I love them.
I just keep trying things. Had massive success with beans, brocolli, sprouts, carrots, beetroot, lettuce, cucumbers, and I always grow tomatoes. The house I bought also has an apple tree in the garden Result!
The taste difference is phenomenal, & honestly, very little hard work.
Very therapeutic though!

Do you get a haircut for Christmas ?

Can Frankie baby retain his level of optimism after that load of shite ?

Love NFL. Great game. Much better than rugby as a sport and a spectacle.

Basketball and Baseball I can take or leave. I used to occasionally watch Baseball late on Channel 4 when I came in from late shifts but it gets a bit repetitive. Hockey is fast paced but I just can't follow it or get interested.

Couldn't give a gnats chuff. American Football I don't understand and baseball is a bit dull to watch (and basically is just rounders). Basketball I could like if it only lasted for one quarter but it goes on for fucking ages, with both teams scoring a million points and then it's only the final quarter that is worth watching. I've never watched Hockey so can't judge that one. I show a passing interest in the Portland Timbers in the MLS but that's our sport anyway.

I like American Football and American sports in general purely because the fans are insane.

Can't stand NFL - utter tripe, totally OTT and I hate the way it's so overblown. I did try and get into it a few years back but I find it a monumentally dull sport. I actually think I prefer cricket.

Baseball - nah, not for me. Unless I'm watching Kenny Powers. I enjoyed rounders as a kid but I'm not a kid anymore. Good fun on Wii Sports mind you. Though I reckon I'd be up for going to a game if I ever find myself over there, just to sample it.

Basketball - I can definitely watch a game but it's never something I'd be able to get into. Found it very dull to play - much prefer watching it.

Ice Hockey - I quite enjoy that actually though I prefer normal hockey.

WWE - I can't totally trust anyone who either classes this garbage as a sport, or actually takes it seriously.

In short, none of the main American sports do that much for me I'm afraid.

American football i love, whilst it bears no resemblance to rugby, or anything else for that matter.
I spent a very horny, lovely day at a baseball game in Memphis with a fine southern lady who desperately tried to explain it to me, she lost and we ended up in "Blues Alley" a fine Memphis rib resturaunt i had an 'in' to, and i stayed 4 weeks longer' than planned.
I love ice hockey, but purely for the sheer violence of the whole thing. slap him up those boards man!

I like all American Football from the Varsity high school stuff, through the college to the NFL. It's a great sport, like chess with 20 stone+ pieces.

Baseball is equally brilliant (I am a Yankees fan) and I think live baseball is brilliant to watch. I like the stats, players and even the fantasy game.

Basketball is OK, again I love the tactics which aren't too dissimilar to football but agree with T-Dan the last quarter is the only bit worth watching.

Tried hockey both live and on TV and struggle to get involved because you can't see the bloody puck.
