Do you drop something in the tin of the person standing outside supermarkets?No tins here.

What does your Boxing Day meal usually consist of?Pork chops and potatoes or leftovers.

Who remembers the old Selection Boxes, with Spangles, Treets, Milky Way and a Fudge ? - you can still get selection boxes, but haven't seen Spangles for years

Ever been away on holiday during the Christmas period ? - the whole family did once rent a large house for the Christmas period - about 15 of us there. Brilliant fun & not that expensive once the costs were shared out

Do you know all the words to The Twelve Days Of Christmas ? - yes, but not necessarily in the right order

Do you hang a stocking for little saft pressies ? - well passed that now, but when the boys were little they used to insist on putting a pillow case out. They were very hopeful at that age!

If you could erase Christmas from the calendar, if you could just make it go away, would you ? - no, just don't like it trying to start as early as it does

I've got some little wooden figures to hang on the Christmas tree (on sleighs or holding presents) that I got from Denmark & was told they were called 'Nisse Men'

Presume that's the equivalent of Santa's elves.

Can't think of one right now. I do have a lemon jelly mix that is christmas themed that I always put on a few times in december though! It's a rip of a radio broadcast done years ago.

No. But I am able to identify every roses, quality street etc choc just by the wrapper. Don't need the list. Go me for being mr party trick!

It would depend on what it is for. Tend to donate in other ways if possible.

I can't remember although I must have gone to them at the Grand Theatre as a kid (I do remember seeing The Muppets live at the Grand Theatre as a kid though, it was awesome, Animal went running through the aisles right past me.)

Do you like Christmas cake and mince pies ?

Of course. I even like the marzipan these days. My wife has made homemade mincemeat for her mince pies this year and made a practice batch at the weekend that I had to sample them to check they were ok. They passed the taste test

Ever go out to a restaurant for your Christmas dinner ?

No way!

Do you have a traditional dinner or have goose, duck, beef or other ?

Traditional. I may even force down a sprout.

Do you wear the hat out of your cracker ?

Always. You HAVE to.

Ever tried Egg Nog, if so did you like it ?

Never tried it. It looks a bit gross though.

Do you usually ask people what they want for Christmas, or get what you think they will want and like ?

I usually ask. I don't have loads of money to spend on presents so would rather spend it on something they actually want. I'm with Langers on Amazon wish lists, they are great.

Do you have to attend a works party, if so are you there because you want to be or there because you feel you have to be there ?

We dont have them. We used to go for a christmas meal but haven't for the last few years.

Have you ever got rat arsed at one of these works party, and done something you later regretted ?

I got quite drunk at one of our Christmas meals but we were in town anyway so I just went on to the Light Bar afterwards and preceded to get even drunker.

Nisser/nissemenn=that's a whole different story! More like gnomes,living in barns and some people put a plate of porridge or something out for them. Not so much anymore I suppose,we're all too busy.

Turkey sandwiches, crisps (Pringles), pickled onions, red cabbage, mini sausages and pork pie. I eat that every day until the Turkey runs out.
