I am surprised that anyone is surprised at how we set up. We got a point from a poor game and at least kept a clean sheet. I will be more interested in how we approach games at Molineux. Our home record this season is awful, we need to start winning on our own ground.

Agreed our home form has been shit for 2 years

He stopped the rot. That's the important thing.

I'm amazed anyone can read anything into his team selection; I expect Rob Edwards has had a significant input into that as PL's only known the players a few days.

Some promising post-match comments from him regarding our young players. I'd much rather see the likes of Bright, Ennis and Herc given a chance than dross like Gladon and Saville.

Going from the commentary only I am aware, but Coady probably warranted more than a ?

Sounded as if he put himself about more than the others in midfield

Don't mind aiming for a point away from home as long as we don't play like that at Molineux. Need to be playing Cavaleiro on the left and it might suit Edwards to play where Bright was today by the sounds of it. Dicko nearly scored twice at the end, get him starting.

Ivan was class when he came on. I just don't understand why he doesn't start every game.

It's Lambert's first match in charge and we managed to get a clean sheet. I'll take that every time.

He must have spat in Edwards dinner or kicked his cat for the man not to rate him above dreck like Saville and Wallace.

I'd genuinely rather watch Anthony Forde than Jed Wallace. He is shite. In a dreadful Championship game he stood out as blatantly below par today.

I think the lack of players over the international break was always going to make it difficult for Lambert to impose his own style on what we have and I expect he deferred to Edwards a lot. Whilst that doesn't necessarily explain the Cav situation, it sounds like he offered a lot when he came on and Lambert will have taken note of that. Here's hoping some sustained time with the whole squad will help him make some better informed decisions going forward.

Forde's done alright for himself at Rotherham, hasn't he? Always liked him.

Verdict.
Nice to have a Wolves side organised again, something to build on.

He wasn't fit for purpose for us in League One let alone anything else.

Wallace is better than him, but I don't really mean that as a compliment.
