Premier League: Relegation Race

Its all well and good banging on about the mental battle of Wolves slipping to 17th but Fulham and Albion drew yesterday and then watched BHA beat Spurs. Their point was useless for both and are now further behind. How do they react to that?

Albion beat their local rivals and have had no bounce, they got beaten at West Ham and humbled by City, now while they (City) can do that we aren't talking vintage Manchester City.

Albion have conceded 15 in their last five games including two against us doing the bare minimum. Albion have the feel of Wolves 2003/04 about them.

With Brighton and Newcastle winning, have our relegation odds been slashed ? When Nuno took over, i thought my days as a worrying Wolves fan was over. It seems at the moment that this is coming back to bite me.

Not really. We were 25/1 last night, 22/1 following the Brighton result.

Current odds on skybet

Sheff Utd 1/12
West Brom 1/10
Fulham 4/9
Newcastle 5/2
Burnley 11/2
Brighton 7/1
Crystal Palace 14/1
Wolves 22/1
Leeds 100/1

Just think the last time we all were at a game was v BHA in the PL in March 2020.The next time we’re all back could be in the championship v Lincoln. 😂 I shouldn’t joke as it usually bites me later on.

Me too. Shitty 0-0 in the temp stand.

Shitty 0-0 and DW missing his train by a minute, as I stepped onto mine

Last Wolves game I went to was Espanyol away :(

I remember the journey to and from the last Wolves game, me flapping about coronavirus and everyone else telling me to stop being a tit

That was your fucking fault.

Mind if I'd known what the next 11 months would bring, we'd have been Popworlding it up.
100% not my fault! (Although I'm sure you were waiting for me to finish a brandy!)

Unreal that it's been nearly a year since we could all meet up for a beer and the game

It's been way too long but, hopefully, the light at the end of the tunnel is in sight.

This is what my concern was. Much closer to the mire at the end of the weekend than the start and with no real on-pitch progress to hold onto, so we look the team least likely to string one of these runs together currently.

Sheff Utd v West Brom L
Spurs v West Brom
West Brom v Man Utd

Fulham v Leicester
Fulham v West Ham
Everton v Fulham

Wolves v Arsenal W
Wolves v Leicester
Southampton v Wolves

Looking at the above I can't help but worry we are likely to be closer to the bottom sides than we are today.

It wasn't pretty, the first 20 today was verging on shambolic at times, but none of that shows next to the big old W I just put there!

At the top of this thread I said as a worst case we need 3 wins and 3 draws. We have 1 and 1 from 3 games
