Pre-Season 2023/24

Thats where we are!
Behind the goal, front row, North Stand.
Drummer's got the tickets.
Fucking hell, a bit pricey for a friendly though!

I see Cunha has taken on the Saiss role of being annoying as fuck to share a dressing room with :D

JG in the back looking absolutely betrayed by Cunha's infidelity

We're in the tiny north end. No surprise given it's Celtic, but not exactly many Cat C seats given the capacity.

From reading the different comments online, they were mainly offered to the FAI season ticket holders and community members first.
If you clicked the link that was emailed by Wolves, it was mostly tickets available on the North stand.
I'd say once they go on general tomorrow, there will be loads of Cat C seats.

RTE got the rest 😆

Dunno if I can be bothered to go to a friendly particularly when it's against Celtic.
Mulling it over.

Can't get used to seeing Wolves in RED!
Just doesn't look right.
White shirts with a yellow (old gold) sash whatever, but not red.
Just no.

I actually wouldn't loan him out at this point. I'd certainly play him over #Starboy.
If he has a really good pre-season, I can see him being involved in most matchday squads.

From the limited clips we've seen, Cunha has come back looking really sharp so far (early days I know). I've stuck a link to yesterdays goal below. What I absolutely love about it is if you turn the sound up, you can hear Cunha say "you deserve it, bro!" to Fraser, even though all of the build up play was done by himself and Fraser had a tap in. Have to say Cunha comes across as a top bloke (your description of "the Saiss role" is perfect).

We're flying back to England today, you'd hope we're trying to get at least one more game organised before we play Celtic. The Vitoria game was only 30 minute halves it seems.

From how it looks right now, i can see a very slow start to the season happening. Lack of match sharpness, new players (assuming we sign some) not settled/match fit. Other players still potentially moving out.

Of course this can change very quickly, but with each day that clicks closer to the 14th of August it's looking more and more likely.

We did play Farense yesterday. Not sure of the lineups but Cunha played.

Yeah I know we did. But two games where we changed the entire XI at HT (and the first one wasn't even a 90 minute game) isn't much.

Sure we will do some games at Compton....if we can avoid Burnley this year though that would be great.
