I'm less convinced about the second point. I'm on the fence, really, but I wouldn't be shocked to see any/all of the following leave or be sold:
Basically, any first team player who had a good relationship with Nuno. Again, not saying I think this will happen, just wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit of an exodus.
- Troare
- Saiss
- Boly
- Neves
- Moutinho
- Podence
- Dendoncker
- Patricio
I guess the answers to those questions will become clear by who we appoint. There are managers out there that would signal some ambition, Lopetegui for one. There are also a fair few that wouldn't, such as Lage IMO.Reading Nuno's last press release on the Wolves website convinces me even more that it was not his decision to leave. It would be nice to hear from Jeff Shi on what the plan is moving forward. I know he won't admit anything in public about Nuno's departure but what are their plans for the next couple of years.

Aaaaarrrgghhhh!!!!!!There isn’t going to be a mass exodus.
I think he looked like that because the season is over as much as anything.I disagree. He looked like a man with the weight of the world off his shoulders at FT. I don't think we will ever find out what truly happened and who encroached the conversation first, but I do think he wants to be back with his family and just have a rest.
Moutinho is probably off, maybe Rui. There’s no market for Boly and Saiss, Podence we’d have to sell for a loss and we cant afford to sell Traore (no one will buy him either). Doncks being useless (who is buying him) so then you’re selling Neves who is the only serviceable midfielder we own.

Think we will hear from Jeff in the next week or so. Lage would signal that they haven't a fucking clue what they're doingI think Lage would signal a movement to developing young talent if anything, as opposed to the club going backwards/stagnating. Not saying I would agree with the appointment but I think that would be the logic.
Not one which suits all parties. There is always a market for Premier League footballers.
You’d put it in my mind!Aaaaarrrgghhhh!!!!!!

He did on the former, but i think that was more to do with going home to his family as much as anything. I think the latter statement is part of the "mutual consent" deal, rather than thinking he couldn't go any further. I don't believe that for a minute from a professional coach of any sport.I disagree. He looked like a man with the weight of the world off his shoulders at FT. It also takes a big man to admit they've taken a club or a project as far as they can and I can see Nuno admitting to that.
It's been mooted, but with all that's gone on i wondered if it would be put back. Maybe the next time we here from him will be on the appointment of a new manager. Like everyone else i hope they get it right, but there is no guarantees they will.Think we will hear from Jeff in the next week or so. He usually has his interview at the end of the season.

Yes, at championship level. Nuno was their only real good appointment. We now need someone on a whole new level, and that isn't easy at all.We haven't really got much to suggest they will get it wrong. Zenga was horrifically wrong but was a panic appointment after Lopetegui ditched us. Lambert wasn't inspiring but did what was needed and steadied the ship: I would suggest Lambert came as a Thelwell recommendation as someone who understood the Championship and the necessities to avoid relegation.
Taking Zenga out of it as it is an anomaly the Fosun appointments would have been Lopetegui, Nuno and Lambert did the job that was asked of him for 6 months. That's a pretty good record.
