****POLL NOW IN OP****Who do you want next?

Indeed, and this past year Fonseca adjusted to neither opponents nor the limits of his players.

Put him at Bayern and I would bet he'd play some of the most scintillating football around. At a club in our position, though? It would be asking for serious trouble, IMO.
Looking at his career it seems he's done very well with the smaller Portugese teams, also with Shakhtar, and had good runs in Europe too.

Arrogant idiot
He is. His football is not even great. A team who has gotten a ton of luck and penalties (16 penalties, unlocking several games that would have wound up tied) and still didn't manage to win the title. Coupled that with thorough intimidation tactics typical of school bullies, I don't want him anywhere near the Molineux.

That's another thing with Nuno, unlike Marco Silva at the time, he was prepared to drop to the 2nd tier of English football in his investment in the Wolves project and work his way back up. SC wants a ready made team to work with rather than one which is mid table Premier League with ambitions to improve

Exactly. Sérgio is an upstart glorified thug.

You're making me laugh Fred. No hallucinogenic fungi needed.

Your simplistic childlike view of football is quite endearing.
hmm, wonder who has been banned several times before..never me...but hey ho love you

Not that Lage would get a work permit but would you take him over Fonseca?
Why wouldn't he?

I'm not sure. Fonseca is a safer bet and a better manager. But his tactic would require major upheavals to our squad. That could work very badly in the EPL.

I like Lage, his Benfica title two years ago was absolutely epic. But his second season was abysmal, not exclusively his fault but he was the manager. So it would be a very risky signing. At least his temperament is very similar to Nuno's, and he's a joy to listen to.

who would you take as wolves manager and sell adama? :)
Don't know enough about either Portuguese manager listed so would probably go for Martins or Potter.

Let them assess Adama before giving him a contract, a pre-season should do it. If he doesn't fit then sell him and get players the new manager does want.

What sort of upheavals would be needed? I read he likes 3 at the back and converted a midfielder to the middle CB like Coady does.

I did however read that he has a box to box midfielder playing alongside the DM, and the wide players are very skilful and creative.
