Other clubs you quite like

[Langers]

An alternative viewpoint - any other teams you have a bit of a soft spot for? I have a few - mainly due to friends supporting them.

Sunderland - I think their fans are superb, always good fun when they come to Molineux, friendly people
Blackburn - a good mate of mine has been a STH for years and took me to Ewood Park several times when we lived in Manchester
Rotherham - family link
Man City - I lived very close to Maine Road, and also enjoyed the attitude of their fans when they weren't really very good and were in Utd's shadow. Always had a laugh with their fans - I can't begrudge them their current successes

I also quite like Brentford - always seem to try and play good football, great away day. And after meeting some very complimentary Blades fans right after the Play Off final in 2003, I have a lot of time for Sheffield Utd (I'll ignore some of Warnock's antics when he was in charge there, although credit where it's due - he was very respectful to us after that final).

Southampton - went to uni there and watched quite a few games at the dell & st marys
Carlisle - my uncle and family are season ticket holder the nutcases (they live in Stratford on Avon)
TP Mazembe - the African Man City, watched a couple of games and they were totally mental

Lincoln city,mainly due to when I lived there the stadium was at the end of the street,seem to be decent fans on the whole,probably due to never actually achieving anything,so the glory hunters don't bother,lack of other team shirts in the city centre while you walk about as well,everyone's a Lincoln fan

Swansea - other side of family support them and even went to the Vetch once
Dulwich Hamlet - amazing non league crowds and played great football when I’ve been to watch them

Since moving to London I've been to see a few of their games, actually a really fun day out and a great atmosphere!

Apart from that it would probably only be a few random foreign teams that I have a soft spot for due to some epic Football Manager experiences - Union Berlin, Rayo Vallecano, & Red Star (Paris).

I'm (quite) a bit older than you so go to see the Le Tiss years. Was very good fun to watch.

Hednesford Town - as I grew up in the town.
Blackpool fc - as a lot of my friends support them and theyve been through hell.
Fleetwood Town - been to a few games and the fans are good.

Aldershot - local team, used to go and watch them a lot as a kid. First Wolves game was there.
Middlesbrough - Lived next to Ayresome Park when I was at poly there. Their fans have a similar doom laden outlook on life to ours.
Brentford - Been in the home end there a few times with a mate and their fans are spot on.
Cowdenbeath - site of the first of annual dodgy football trips I do with a mate. It's a scary, violent shithole but we had a lot of fun. This is year 14 and we're off to Exeter in April which I imagine will be a bit different.

 

[Derby Wolf]

Lived in the shadow of Sincil Bank (Ripon St) in my uni digs and went to a few of their games, always very accessible for students and followed their progress ever since.

Woking - lived there for many years & went regularly from the very late 70's to the early 90's when I had kids & a mortgage & for obvious reasons could not have lost that amount of time or money to come up to Wolves (still try to get to a couple of games each year)

AFC Wimbledon - for what Deutsch said, but also as the original club were one of our big rivals before they got into the league,but there was always a lot of respect between us.
Fulham - just a nice day out, with no aggro at all

Raith Rovers; my "Scottish team"
St Patricks Athletic; I believe there has been some form of family connection to the club, family members playing for them and they were my Dads team
Darlington (now Darlington 1893); lived there for about 20 years and have some really good mates who are Darlo fans. Went to games when I couldn't get to Wolves matches
AFC Wimbledon; went to "block school" with a lad who was a Wimbledon fan about the time that the Winkleman stuff was going on. He was so passionate about his club that you couldn't help but have respect for them and him. He went on to be part of the fans group that reformed AFC Wimbledon and I've even been to one of their games!
Chelsea; my brother supports them or so he claims! Possible closet Wolves fan
Arsenal; my eldest son ended up supporting them due to a freak Nigel Winterburn goal with his wrong foot when Mike was ALMOST a Wolves fan again...
Northallerton Town: Two substitute appearances for them in the mid to late 80's in the Northern Premier League, played for and top scored for the Town Reserves 86/87 & 87/88

I quite liked Crystal Palace for a bit during the 90s and 00s. As a kid growing up in the Midlands but surrounded by Liverpool fans I was pretty inspired by their dramatic FA Cup SF win against Liverpool in 1990 (4-3 in ET). The glory days of Wright, Salako... and, uh, Pardew.

Also used to follow Nuneaton Boro quite a bit, given they were literally just down the road from me.

For the last two seasons I've found myself keeping an eye on Plymouth's consecutive escapes from L1 relegation battles as I'm currently living there!
