Well, in the interests of balance and to challenge our echo chamber: Here’s the view from Talking Wolves, a view they are entitled to of course. I’m not editing:

Person one: “I think Doc would stay around… I think you’d have Doyle, I think Pedro Lima would be playing every week, and Rodrigo Gomes”.
Dave bloke: “[unironic, impressed intake of breath] Ooh yeah, that’d be a fckin good team for that division”.

So, yeah. Tearing it up. Don’t know why I’m feeling so down.

Very simplistic what about the other 7-8 positions on the pitch and squad depth?
I think some of our super fans think it’ll be a short Championship spell then straight back for another prolonged stay. They’re in for a very nasty shock.

It doesn't take much to take a relegated PL side and make them a Championship force. Sheffield Utd are top of the league and they were awful. Leicester went down due to mismanagement like we will and absolutely pissed the league the next year. A degree of competence and a will to do so and we would too, which are the sticking points

Your last sentence is the ultimate problem expecting Shi and Hobbs to manage a relegation well is a major issue.

Sheff Utd have a better manager now though than us, and Leicester had Marasca who would be one of the manager of the season candidates with Slot and Nuno at this point.

And some fans use to moan at Adama, Moutinho, Saiss and Coady.

It’ll definitely be a very young team, hence the latest recruitment stragedy, they’ll be hoping they’ve found a new Jota, Neto, Ait Nouri and they’ll probably bring in a ragged arse Championship central defender and a ragged arse Championship striker and expect to take it by storm.
Deluded twats.
