You have to split the 2 situations.

GO has to go. Regardless of the next step...he has to go.

His replacement - Little confidence in what we will do. We could agree to the terms for Potter but we won't.
We certainly won't get Bruce or Sam. Cooper is a maybe though.

Bruce is a complete sock puppet, IMO. My childhood beagle had more going on between his ears, and was definitely much better at getting people to like him.
 
Allardyce is about as relevant as Joe Royle.

He's 70 years old, hasn't managed a full season anywhere since 2014/15, and failed in his last two "firefighting" missions. He wouldn't be on anyone's list unless they'd been in a coma for a decade.

Given we sack managers, rather than have them poached by other clubs, a mid-season change is only done because things are going badly. I suspect that changing managers has been unsuccessful in part because it takes time to get things right and perhaps more importantly we get the appointment wrong. I live in hope we get it right this time, and let’s be realistic, whoever we appoint is likely to be better than GO.

Sums up our piss poor senior leadership above the manager/head coach for decades and I include the likes of happy-for-the-ride wasters like Bowater and Gough on the so-called board. Plus, what on earth an over-promoted scout who did school links for about fifteen years before being rapidly promoted at Wolves (see his Linkedin profile) to be the Sporting Director is doing.... Just crap after crap after crap. No wonder we usually do bugger all on the pitch relative to our perceived self-importance and name recognition in the game. Mendes might be a bit of a 'player' but my god he delivered whether through Nuno or certain recently well known players. SJH too with the stadium and Compton.

I sometimes see a Wolves fan crossing the road above the subway after matches - we seem to be on similar schedules when the match is over - they look like Colin Lee.

Nothing wrong with being 70 years old Dan;);) but the killer for me is that he'd have that fat scouse twat Sammy Lee on his team
 
Hobbs has got to have chance to get back to Wolvo and tell Jeff what's happened as I doubt Jeff is watching or gives a shit.
