I'd be getting more McLeish to Villa or Redknapp to Southampton vibes than anything else.

I'd take him over Mutant Cooper but it's not much of an endorsement.
 
Get Scott Parker in, he's wearing a 2.5k coat this evening so could manage and bankroll us...
 
No transfer budget after they fucked up in the summer after Kilman sale? These mugs really want the team to go down. I guess parachute payments will tell us the maximum time Fosun have left as owners.
 
I think he's pretty good and would like if someone took him off Albion as he's probably the only thing that keeps their rubbish squad in the conversation for playoffs. But it's not going to work at us, you're on a hiding to nothing when you're coming from a big rival. Weird he doesn't immediately rule himself out.
 
If reports of Potter and Moyes not being interested are true I’m not sure where we look next. Obviously bringing someone in with baggage(!) has risks but he knows how to get a team organised so he’d be above the likes of Cooper in my book. The fact he’s keeping a rubbish squad in touch of the play offs is surely an indication he’s got something about him. I’d be interested in alternative suggestions. One I saw was Ralph Hassenhuttl whose Southampton team twice conceded 9 and he also signed Che Adams!

We would at least be able to upgrade the wanker insult to "Albion wanker"

He may not give a shiny shit about it but the fans of the club do. If we had a manager doing ok and he was linked with the Albion job and gave the non answer as he did there the general response across our fan base would be anger and Glasgow would need therapy.

Oh, I agree. Just pointing out that I think it’s a silly thing for supporters to get worked up about, although I fully appreciate why you’d want your coach to go full Not Like Us on your rival. Just feels like an expectation that isn’t based in reality in 2024.

As a group we get worked up over utter bollocks really. All part of the fun.
 
Lop still favourite in the betting to be next PL manager to leave. Seems strange given WH will almost certainly beat us on Monday.

I think West Ham have let it be known they are talking with Potter and will bin Lop if he agrees to join regardless of them smashing us on Monday
