O'Neil aka GONe

Sky saying he will be in charge on Monday now as well.

They've lied to Keen with that story to try and calm the fans. What a waste of a good opportunity to win at West Ham.

He could take a shit on Jeff’s wife live on tv and wouldn’t get the sack at this point

I’m clinging to the faint possibility that they’re shoddily able to make the change before Ipswich, but realistically I think that’s that for this Premier League chapter.

I have absolutely zero faith in Shi/ Hobbs employing a genuinely decent manager I can get excited about...but virtually anyone even halfway competent could do better than that. It's close to impossible to do worse.
I am sure that Nuno especially but also Kenny Jackett, Lopetegui et al will have returning memories of the way they were treated.

FFS. Just sack him. It's been obvious for months that we are a complete mess defensively and that's not going to change with one more game.

I'm clinging to the small hope that they are trying to get his replacement sorted before giving him the boot but that would be far too sensible for Wolves.

Just back from my lunch break. Has he gone yet?

Fucking ridiculous.

Just screams they have no idea who to replace him with
And, we have no-one else capable of stepping up even for one game!!! Just chuck the three points away then because if he is present the atmosphere within the players and fans will be completely rancid.

As well as someone with a bare modicum of defensive organisational ability, I feel we'd also need someone who can give the players a boost, an authoritative and stabilising figure (I think even Lop did this initially).

We seem quite mentally weak as a squad
I hate to say it but I would also get the new coach to get someone in like that prat Maguire to do an Emlyn Hughes in the defence. Sorry Emlyn, you were far superior.

I genuinely think they’ve got themselves into a cul-de-sac of situations.
Can’t sack because they’ll look stupid, want to sack him but can’t because of finances to do so.
They know full well that GON is getting us relegated they just can’t work out the solutions.
As someone said the utter nonsense back in September about tough fixtures has led to small minded thinking and brittle confidence.
All confidence built prior to Saturday was destroyed within 20 minutes and we were back to pre November confidence levels.
This is norm now you’re employing a man who’s overseen 14 matches this season and has conceded. A 6 , 5 and 4x2, only kept 1 clean sheet and only has 3 games with less than 2 conceded.

Gaz is talking like a man that has been told he has been sacked but is now the caretaker manager.

Last sentence looks like he won’t be around much longer.
