O'Neil aka GONe

No way his teeth look like that if he's drinking that much tea 😂

Is the 2nd tea lady the new Berra/Jonny and we won’t be able to sign anyone if she’s still here?

Google informs me

“Porcelain veneers are made of a non-porous material, which means they will not absorb stains easily like your natural teeth. They can last for several years without staining.”

Wondering aloud and thinking about the way Shi works..... I reckon we cannot fire GON (and joke coaching team) because we have to wait and sell a player in January to have any funds for compensation. At the same time, I reckon that Shi will be pressurising Hapless Hobbs to fix football things in order to save his own face.
In other words I guess there will be no action until January when we will be selling players. Do we actually have the GBP 30 million?funds to pay for JSL next summer without selling?

Just like China itself I don’t think Fosun are that arsed about English football anymore, they’ll do their bit of asset stripping when we get relegated by making 100 million plus selling our best players, replace with kids and Championship journeymen find another patsy to replace O’Neil and look to sell.

In the end, the Chinese arrived (weren't all 4 major West Midlands conurbation clubs owned by them at one stage?) and we benefitted big time. That's now come to a close with the Americans and Middle East Crews taking over the PL. Now we just wait until Fosun give up the ghost with their plaything and we return to being a provincial club avoiding the Championship playoffs and singing 'Those were the days my friend'.
As you say, I think we are all resigned to the fact that they'll take their money and then we are back to square one.

Sadly I think you’re absolutely right, I’m no Business man or financial guru but I think Wolverhampton Wanderers have only ever been nothing more than a play thing in the Fosun Portfolio.

Two defeats and there will only be Leicester and Palace in touching distance and that's not accounting for their results. For me Fosun have to act if we lose both.

Working hard is a given as a PL manager. It's not the ace that mediocre talent like GON seems to think it is.

And a 4 match unbeaten run is not really anything to write home about either, except relative to our previous wretched results

Top to bottom, back to front, this team is an absolute rabble. We’ve seen it match after match after match. It’s so off the scale it’s non-negotiable. There’s only one person responsible for a stark staring lack of organisation on the pitch. I turned up on Saturday hoping they’d somehow found a way despite the lack of purpose but that was simply the heart over head nonsense of the fanatic. Because I love Wolves my ideal result tomorrow is the kind of outrageous shellacking that makes a sacking obligatory regardless of the vested interest in doing nothing. Shock treatment please. Of course Everton are too hopeless to inflict anything more than more depression.

The thing which annoys me most about that type of comment isn't so much what he says, it's how easy it is to give the correct answer. It should have been taught very earlier in his media training.
'That performance wasn't acceptable and that starts with me, but we've got a terrific bunch of players here and we'll work tirelessly to get the results they, the fans and the club deserves. I'm confident you'll see the hard work we are putting in on the pitch starting tomorrow.'

The problem being he thinks he is some kind of football genius that has reinvented the way it should be played and if only the players could just understand what he meant

He’s got a huge pay off awaiting him and enough suitors from the outside Wolves/Bournemouth world to walk into a job tomorrow. He can be as relaxed as he wants to be with excuses banked by most of the media for this seasons problems along with 2 decent seasons beforehand.

Maybe semantics, but what interests me about his quote is he has zero concerns about his future as a coach . Not wolves coach. A bit like TT's comment above, it's a poor answer.
I Mean is he already distancing himself from the club?

Don't know how related it is, but strand larsens comments that he can't be involved in many more "crazy games " like he's had to so far is interesting.

I am guessing that he knows we do not have any money to pay him and his team of useless last minute acquired coaches off. Until a player is sold in January that is...
