O'Neil aka GONe

This, I still don’t understand why people find him likeable.
Agree with this, I foolishly thought he was a decent bloke at first but I’m getting pissed off with him continually going on about how he’s managed to turn x y z into better players and his pathetic fist pumps when we manage to grab an unforeseen result.
Then when we lose it’s always as a result of something that is beyond his control.

Think there could be a token sacking towards the end of the season, but I suspect more likely it will be a mutual consent in the summer alongside the player exodus.

You appear to be surprised by this.

Have you not been paying attention at the back?
It was more hope than expectation.

Yesterday was the first time I thought there was a small chance he could be sacked. Alas, it appears that nothing is actually his fault and he can do no wrong.

Southampton is the only time I felt he was a game away, he's back to at least 2 or 3 again now

I also let myself get “optimistic” that being railed by Bournemouth would paint a clear enough picture of the state of things. Silly of me.

He should have gone after Brentford. New manager would almost certainly have got as any points since then and could now be beginning to produce a team that is organised with players that know what they’re doing. Instead we just get chaos interspersed with occasional moments of individual brilliance.

Wins on Tuesday for rivals and a loss to Everton will put him bang in trouble for the West Ham game. But in all likelihood we will all draw and nothing materially changes for anyone and we all just keep muddling along

If we lose to Everton (who are awful) he’s bang in trouble surely

Don't be so sure. Trying to 2nd guess our club is dangerous.

A well run club would look at 3 wins in 23, pretty much guaranteed to concede at least 2 goals a game and in the bottom 3 and think "we need to sort this out"

It's a poor position but thankfully a few others clubs are trying to match us, let's sort this out whilst we can still attract someone to come in and save the season.

Instead we have the outlook of "it will come good, remember the details from him...it has to come good if we back him and if not, he will 100% get us promoted"
