Olympiacos FC (A) 12/03/20 - Following Nuno, Drinking The Ouzo

I'd have taken 1-1 at kick off given the difficult circumstances

Get home safe now boys

Always annoying in Europe that they always tend to blow up for full time as soon as the additional time ends. What about the booking in injury time for time wasting ref?

Awful game. Important away goal. That's about all

Adequate, but a bit of a dissappointment in the end - away goal is good, but we can play better than that, can they.

We’re a strange side. That’s two games in a row where you’d say we are a terrible team to watch. Sub Mick McCarthy stuff. Hopefully it’s just tiredness.

Tonight it’s an immense opportunity wasted. Off it from minute one. We’d have taken a score draw before the game, but to play 70 minutes against ten men, that’s a bang average performance and result.

Expected 0-0. Very happy with 1-1 away.

Boring game. Poor performance. Decent result. Hopefully we'll actually turn up and play in the 2nd leg.

That’s do. Wonder how uefa will punish them for allowing home fans in? Shan’t hold my breath, but I hope wolves have the guts to call them out.

Sub McCarthy?

What garbage.

The ref looks just like Owen Jones.

Pleased with 1-1 - under the circumstances which must have had an impact in our preparation (which I've not seen mentioned often on this thread - it was hardly a typical matchday), that's a good result.

Hopefully we'll have a crowd for the 2nd leg and we can finish the job.

Away goal could be really important but don't think anyone can say that was anything other than disappointing. No fluidity, a few players that have been poor recently still poor and we never really went for the 10 men. Not the easiest of games with all that went before and during it though so maybe that played a big part and 1-1 puts us in control.

Sub McCarthy stuff :icon_lol:

Post of the year so far. Deary me.

Bore off, you're spouting utter shite.

Other than the McCarthy comment the rest is correct.

Disappointing performance, and given the circumstances finished feeling like an opportunity missed.

It's not a bad result on balance, but it could and probably should have been much better.

Red card saved us there, they were well on top before then. We were toothless before and after but at least the numerical advantage dulled their threat somewhat. Got to be honest I thought that was a really poor performance, with only Neto coming away with a bit of credit

Think we take that result tbh. Could have done better in all honesty but an away goal is worth a lot at this stage.
