The lad at Sheff Wednesday looked as good a right back as I'd seen in this division this season, only seen him the once though.

I think we'll be aiming much higher than Fredricks and Doc next season. Wouldn't be surprised to see a well established player come in.

Traore was not playing well before Pulis though. I say we need to upgrade on Ruddy and stick by that. Yet he has had a lot of unwarranted crap from Wolves fans today on the back of this. He has had some games this year where done little and then then made a very good stop, that is a real skill and I don't think some of the other keepers mentioned (specifically Carson) have that same level of mental awareness. I know I am a proper annoyance for my keeper love, but my coach used to tell me that 'the majority of your saves no one sees if your footwork and position is good' and so I think we do overlook some of Ruddy's importance.

Ruddy will be in there because he’s kept the most clean sheets - no more or less. Difficult to argue with that (even though I’ve gained a reputation for disliking him on here, it appears).

As I have said multiple times, he was the perfect signing at the time, for both on and off field reasons. Doesn’t mean to say we can’t improve that area significantly next season, though.

Personally I am chuffed to bits for Ruddy, my views have been clear on him. I wanted him here , he came and for me he has done a good job.( Equally chuffed for Coady- An amazing transformation) It makes sense with 19 clean sheets and in fairness there has been no exceptional goalkeeper in the championship this season. You could argue Bialkowski at Ipswich but even he has had a few off games and flaps according to their fans locally here.

I also think Warnock has done an exceptional job for Cardiff and with no players making the team it is a fair balance. Neves and Sessingnon will win the 2 awards. Both up for both!

Nathan Byrne and Charlie Mulgrew in the league one team too
