Non League Football.

FCUM have been forced to play their final home league game of the season at a neutral venue by the NPL as a penalty for it being called off previously on 6 different occasions due to bad weather. It's a pretty big thing as the table in a 40 game season current looks like this:
Hebburn P37 Pts 70
Hednesford P37 Pts 70
FCUM P36 Pts 68

A fan wrote to the chairman of the NPL to complain, granted in a pretty pompous fashion and got this response.

My exposure to FCUM fans over the last few days tells me they might not go to Old Trafford any longer, but Christ the sense of entitlement hasn't left them

Market Drayton continuing their quest to find out what the lowest level of non league football is

They might actually survive or get moved into another division at this level as things get complicated this low down.

Managed to get back to Hereford to watch this one, very nervy but what an atmosphere in the end, just under 4,500 fans there.
Just really pleased for the City. It’s important for the pubs and shops to have a team in a higher league.

Tamworth are on the verge of being taken over by a US syndicate. Whilst it is intriguing what they intend to do with the club/stadium, it is also a little concerning that a local with clubs best interest at heart will no longer be in charge.
They don’t really have the support to go any higher in the football pyramid so investment could give them the chance to continue to compete with the full time sides in the National. It could easily go pear shaped though and they end up two divisions lower like they were 4 years ago.
