FCUM have been forced to play their final home league game of the season at a neutral venue by the NPL as a penalty for it being called off previously on 6 different occasions due to bad weather. It's a pretty big thing as the table in a 40 game season current looks like this:
Hebburn P37 Pts 70
Hednesford P37 Pts 70
FCUM P36 Pts 68
A fan wrote to the chairman of the NPL to complain, granted in a pretty pompous fashion and got this response.
"Following a meeting of the board, the Northern Premier League can confirm that chairman Mark Harris has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect, pending a full disciplinary investigation."
My exposure to FCUM fans over the last few days tells me they might not go to Old Trafford any longer, but Christ the sense of entitlement hasn't left them
