Non League Football.

Yeah the cup run seems to have spurred them on. I think their last 3 results have been 4-0, 2-0, 4-0. Hopefully the game will go ahead and in front of a decent crowd. First home match since the Wycombe game.

Is there really only one spot for automatic promotion from the National? How will I ever see Forest Green in the Football League??

2... Champs and then the winner of the play offs

Clubs in the national league have been fighting for years to get the number of teams promoted to be increased to four. They believe there should be automatic promotion and relegation between league two and the national league in the same way as there is in the football league.

Good luck with that. It is miles better than it used to be. Bath City spent most of the seventies winning the Southern League by Easter and never getting voted into the league.

With two up and down and most of the clubs being professional the Conference is more like Div 3 these days anyway

Lincoln City won 1 - 0 at bottom of the table North Ferriby United to retain their lead at the top of the table. On paper it looked straight forward, but given the effort put in at Burnley last week, and with a trip to Arsenal on the horizon, this was definitely a banana skin.

Important win that. Pretty sure Lincoln will do it, but that is important as it keeps them focused.

In the opposite FA cup situation Stourbridge after having no initial hangover are out of the play off positions now after 3 losses on the spin

Lincoln City are through to the FA Trophy semi finals, great news but it adds two more games to their already congested fixture list. They are still fighting on three fronts, but the league is the priority. One can only hope that the Imps success in the cups does not affect their drive to get back in the football league.

They seem to really know what they are doing so no doubt they will have that covered. Seem very focused and detailed in what they do

Sutton, back to normal sponsorship almost had pie gate backfire even further when their keeper was injured early on and a defender had to go in goal with the porker having resigned.

There's only 5 subs in the Conference and they don't put a keeper on the bench for League games. The media are trying to extend the story unnecessarily
