I'm not sure how you can describe it any other way. Coady jumps under the ball and doesn't challenge the man. It's poor.

Fuck sake Traore. In what way does it make more sense for him to be playing those passes than MGW? He clearly doesn’t have a clue what to do when running forward with people making runs off him.

Coady against Rondon is a mismatch - either Bennett or Boly has to come & look after him

Needs to get the ball first, lumping it over his head again now. We can’t even string two passes together atm, I don’t really get why we aren’t playing like we used to in terms of ball retention.

Agreed. Turgid stuff from us so far. And it’s all on Nuno at the moment.

It actually shows how poor Newcastle are that it’s 1-1. If we’d have started with the same side that beat Chelsea, we’d be winning this comfortably.
