Much the same as everyone elses opinion really.
Thought we bossed the first 20-30 minutes without creating much, then we had the clustetfuck, Jota's pass was terrible but we defended the first cross easy enough but then a simple floated cross, Donk not tracking back and we're one down again.
I get the plan to be tight first half (apart from it not working) and thats fine against the likes of City, but do we really need to do that against the poorer teams. Anyway once we went 3-4-3 we were good, Doc and Traore really work well together and we started creating chances. One of Jota or Doc have to put their chance away and thats a definite pen at the end.
How does var not give something for the assault on Jota?
