I probably caught freshers flu a week or 2 ago. totally crashed one afternoon at work. decided it is important to learn from the pandemic, so called in sick for 3 days, rather than go in and spread germs. Because now, it seems most employers say if you're ill, you either call in sick or turn up and spread the illness around.

I work in a relatively small office, myself, 2 engineers and a manager.
All 3 of them never seems to push their chair under their desk when they get up to leave, be it for 5 mins or 5 hours
I'm always the 1st in the office of a morning and always seem to push chairs under desks before I start, along with numerous times during the day.
Not sure if its a British thing or not but I find it highly annoying

On a roll today. Had an out of hours doctor call Sydney at 18:00 on Wednesday as she didn’t feel well and had a really sore throat. Doctor prescribed something or other but couldn’t send it to the pharmacy as he wasn’t our doctor, “Call your GP in the morning and get them to send it to the pharmacy” he said. So I’d did just that, at 08:30 yesterday morning.

Went to pick it up in my way home from work at 17:15 and had to wait nearly 30 minutes for them to say “We don’t have it and it’s not even in the system, call your GP”. So I’d did just that again. “Sorry, it hasn’t gone over yet as we haven’t had to to sign it”. So the near 9 hours I gave you was not long enough, fucking cocks.

Go in today at 12:00 after confirming the prescription was there and they ‘don’t have it in stock and it’s been sent to the warehouse’. What the fuck? Nearly 48 hours to get a prescription? She’ll be fucking better before she even touches the fucking thing. Absolute wankers man.
