I think we need some surgery done in Jan but this is really positive news.

It was. He (Monchi) had a spell at Roma for a while but hired JL a few months after he came back to Sevilla.

Yes, I can see the scepticism, but don’t stripping it back, when we have no striker I can see Lage telling him to fuck off. Equally I can’t see Raul saying ‘well I’m not playing for you’ as if he has that is ronaldo levels of shit.

I’m also still not 100% on what his injury was, from groin to chronic fatigue. All abit of a mystery
 
Great news, been such a depressing couple of weeks but this has cheered me right up. TT should see what my daughters score prediction will be when she hears about this!

You haven't missed anything but it has been known that players have been 'injured' for a variety of reasons.

It would not surprise me in the slightest if Raul was sick to the back teeth of the whole coaching set up and could see nothing was going to change with the current wankers in charge.

That's changed with the news of Lopetegui today.

I get that. But I’d like to think Raul has just absconded - like to think he has more about him than that.

Il be cautiously optimistic due to the fact we’ve basically been here before. Fingers crossed it’s finally a goer. Not too sure what’s changed to much in a couple of weeks mind
