You seem ahead of the curve, what is it Pearson does?

And what is it you do Scott?
Not particularly, it's fairly easy to understand. I'm surprised you're struggling with it. Let's just say it doesn't involve picking the team, devising tactics or making substitutions. All the things that Steve Davis said was his responsibility and that you think he's lying about because it's really down to Scott Sellars.

I know you and Johnny have a thing for each other, but pretty much everyone on here knows that Sellars has a say in tactics and game management, I mean his whiteboard even had the Donck/Nunes stupid inside right position on it. When Madeley the lamest of patsy correspondents goes as far as to say
"Supporters will make their own decisions on whether Sellars’ communication with Pearson, who spends games on the touchline, cannot seep into the collective thinking of the coaching staff." the game really is up.

You didn't know who Pearson was or that he sat on the bench this morning, so you can continue to dig in and look silly or give it up. Totally your call

Deutsch is correct though in the grand scheme of issues, it's pretty low down

So you've no idea and basing your knowledge around nothing at all.

Good to know.

Does anyone else think the tactics board was a bit basic and naïve?

It seems to be “if the opposition leaves a massive gap in their defensive line, get someone to run through it”

It’s like a prop from Mike Bassett.

I suspect Jeff is actually managing the team and he’s told Scott to create a smokescreen to divert attention. Hence the super simple diagram and radio comms equipment.

I suspect Guo is actually managing the team and he's told Jeff to create a smokescreen to divert attention and Jeff has told Scott to create a further smokescreen to divert attention even further OR its actually President Xi in charge and he has told Guo to create a smokescreen to divert attention and he's told Jeff to create a smokescreen to divert attention even further and Jeff has told Scott to create a further smokescreen to divert attention so far no one has a clue what's going on. Hence the super simple diagram and radio comms equipment.

If you think the difference between the PL and EFL is insignificant I don't know what to tell you.

If you think Fosun only do deals for thousands of millions (that'll be billions in modern parlance) then you're flat out wrong as we were bought for less than £50m
.Johnny, I know the difference is indeed significant, but reading the article posted on here about the plight Fosun find themselves in and the companies and assets they are selling, they are really dealing in big and very big numbers.
Your last sentence is a bit wide of the point I was making.
I wasn't referring to the deals they do, but more looking at the assets they are selling.

It's very naive, even I have a better coaching whiteboard than that, you've got to be using the double sided one with magnet player pieces, it's so much easier than drawing the X's and O's, and coach knows that.

I mainly use mine for stupid videos I send to my mates about my Football Manager career, and I do actually still have the number of Sellars brother (who I used to assist as a coach) - so I might send him a text latter and offer to drop it off for him to send on to Scott...

It's very Cm01-02.

All that was missing was a ‘cup on a string’

We can all see how bad a deal it was/is. The fact that Everton were desperate for a defender at the time and went on to spend large figures on other signings (certainly one) makes it all the more bizarre.
The Traore and Coady deals should have led to heads rolling...
