New Kits 2016/17

If you thought that then you really don't understand the importance of club colours over here yet. Cardiff in red was almost blasphemous.

I understand the importance of the colors, but that doesn't mean I find it particularly logical.

It is simple really. There are three big teams in Wales - Cardiff Blue, Swansea White, Wrexham red. On top of that, in rugby Cardiff play in Blue and Swansea in white. Those colours are intrinsically associated with the two cities and you don't fuck with it, unless your name is Vincent Tan. Very noticeable that he put it back pretty damn quickly.

It is simple, I'm not arguing with it or telling people not to feel so attached to it. I just don't find it personally worth getting bent out of shape over.

The club is the club, IMO its identity is with the supporters. Colors may change, stadium names may be sold out to corporations, etc, but if the spirit of the fans is the same then the club is the same.

Wolves will be Wolves whether they wear blue, pink, orange, gold, or fuschia.

No, no they really wouldn't.

Although we manage to jump all over some truly foul parts of the spectrum in the area, our colours are famous. Much more so than in the case of Cardiff. We are Wolves, and we are Old Gold and Black. Change that, and the universe stops expanding and the world plummets into the sun. Or something like that.

Are you Ryan McKnight?

One thing you can say about the Bradford kit is that it is distinctive & won't be forgotten. (That plus an innofensive sponsor as I have no idea who it is supposed to be promoting!)

Think they're car dealers,or a leasing company, not sure though without googling

Yep car leasing.

I totally understand the Cardiff fans anger about a change of colours. The culture of football here dictates that tradition is always important. A fan loves his clubs colours. Look at the reaction to some our strange away kit choices. Even the shade of gold (orange) for the home, too much black, not black collars, etc

Some bellend who came to the fans parliament to try and tell us all how to support the club.

As someone who's never set foot in England, much less Molineux, I don't think I have much authority on that.

Being a football supporter isn't always about logic though. Emotion, passion, desire, belief, hope, despair, resignation and so on - all are illogical, yet are many of the driving factors behind supporting a football team.

Yep there's nothing logical about following a football team, it boils down to tribalism and a belief and desire to associate with a particular tribe. You can't just change the name, colours, ground it's all part if the sense of belonging. It's not success we associate ourselves with but the group, the acceptance that we gain from that.

Blues kit is quite nice.

Yeah, clean, simple. Far better than they deserve.

You don't play in white, boys.

I think they are nicknamed the Sky Blues for a reason. So that shirt is slightly confusing.

They used to wear white in the early 60's I think
