1 objection in then if it ever does get suggested then
While my post was in slight jest, think we have to recognise while Wolves is the be all and end all to us its not the case for everyone in and around the city. I'm sure there'd be quite a few objects to closing a main route into the City Centre.
What purpose would it solve from Wolves point of view? I can't remember reading they wanted to have it closed and can't really understand why they would want to?
Didn't they implement a new queuing system for the last few games before everything stopped?
Sure it was designed to stop Molineux Street being blocked from getting down towards the Northbank etc by people queuing for the Steve Bull Upper.
How did it go? Can't think I ventured that way for a while.
The concourse area is dreadful too. I like the stand and my ST has always been in there but it is showing every one of its 41 years, I often think on what it would be like if it needed to be evacuated quickly
There is one fire exit by J1, don't know where it takes you as I've never seen it open. But yeah the Steve Bull is fucking awful, I love my seat and I love the crowd around us but the stand itself is rank.
Is the East Stand the one next to the main car park adjacent to Derby Arena?Derby have outline planning permission to expand their stadium, not capacity wise but adding a food court and bars to the East Stand open during the week and a fan park on matchdays, maybe as part of re-modelling the Steve Bull we could do something along those lines to expand the concourse and make the stand more hospitable, add extra turnstiles to bin the congestion outside The Feathers.
There's all that dead space underneath the offices where if you had the turnstiles entrance where the steps are now you've got a much bigger space because Molineux is city centre it'd be pointless having something open in the week but it could drastically improve the stand.
