Middlesboro 1 - 2 Wolves: Verdict

Won 2-1 away at Boro, down to 9 and I am still annoyed they score as felt we deserved a clean sheet. This season is unfathomable to me.

I'm glad they scored late as it won me £50 on Sky Requestabet!

Thought Saiss was excellent. Unsung hero

Had to practically get dragged off the pitch.

Yeah he looked wrecked, got through so much work. Hope he's OK we need him for Hull.

I’d be fine with N’Diaye and MGW on midfield for hull, give Saiss a break.

Still not sold on MGW as a CM, his tackling is worse than Ruben's. We already lose a bit of shape with Alfred in there, we definitely can't have two CMs who actively want to get forward.

Clearly the Costa foul and potential red card was an awful error, however I couldn't argue with any of Atwell's other decisions, Neves was fucking stupid and Doherty a touch unlucky, but not something that didn't deserve a booking. At 9 men he could have sent Saiss of for another yellow. We completely lost our discipline after the none foul on Costa and we are the only ones to blame for that not the referee. We defended wonderfully after that and were worth our two goal half time lead.

Hull are 18th, and will only have 2 days rest compared to our 3 - it’s a game we should win, and I’d rather Saiss be fresh for the Cardiff game which will obviously be much tougher.

I’m not a massive Doherty fan, but that was a soft yellow card - there was no elbow and no intent.

I was talking to some people in a pub this lunchtime about the game and mentioned that we hadn't won at Boro since 1951. One of the ladies placed a £10 bet on us to win 2-1.

Doherty has been fucking superb since Villa, for my money. And our goal in that match was also down to brilliant work from him.

Eh? The Leadbitter challenge deserved a red on its own as did Ryan Shotton. His in game management was abysmal as was the first card for Neves. No consistency and got major decisions wrong.

He's an inept sack of shit who should be out of a job.

Come on that's not a red for Leadbitter, just a classic take one for the team yellow. Neves' first was for gobbing off wasn't it, if so we can't judge whether it was appropriate or not.

I think Neves first card was for a foul that the ref played advantage until Doc fouled him again.

As nailed on a red as Danny Batth's again Brizzle.

Yep, dangerous and off his feet out of control. It's a red all day.

Then Neves was booked for what was a trip, as you say, fucking inept.
