If Leadbitter deserved a straight red then so did Neves for the challenge that bought his second yellow.
Seen this mentioned a few times and done a bit of Googling, can't see anything to say he isn't allowed to award cards against both the foul he played advantage on and the one which ultimately stopped play. Even been a few times where both those fouls have been committed by the same player and ended up being sent off for two yellows in a single passage of play.It was, but the inept fucking twat booked them both.

I want to be very clear that my contention with Attwell had nothing to do with his handing out two yellow cards for the same incident. That is quite legitimate according to the laws of football. My contention is that it was inconsistent with the decision he had made less than a minute earlier on the Costa breakaway. The Costa breakaway called for a decision: if Friend tripped Costa, he should have been sent off; if Friend did not trip Costa, then Costa should have been yellow carded for a dive. Not to make a decision on that incident was not an option available to him, so when he decided to card Neves and Docherty for the same incident a minute later, it left him with a rod of his own making. My own view is that Neves' offence did not warrant a yellow card (his first; his second was a clear yellow card, just as there were two borderline red card offences for Middlesbrough players in the first half for which there was merely a talking to the respective players); others can disagree. What cannot be contested though is the fact that in the context of the game at that point, Attwell was acting in a highly inconsistent manner (having NOT brought out a card for the Costa incident and then carding two players of the same team in the next one) and thereafter he began to lose the control of the game. Once having lost control, he erroneously (in my view) gave a second card harshly to Doherty for an offence that merited only a free kick. As I said earlier, he went back six years or so in his development as a referee as a consequence of this inconsistency and I will not be surprised to find that he will not be refereeing Wolves for some time in the future.
I don't think it would be the first time we've complained about him refereeing our games either. If we complain they sort of have to. Especially if we point out the cunt is a Villa fan and had a vested interest in us not winning yesterday.

My main problem with Attwell is that he appears to lose control in every game I see him ref.Absolutely spot on. My own view on Atwell was that he lost it from the 40th minute onwards when he suddenly caved in to the crowd and booked Ruddy for time-wasting when he was simply doing what goalies do. After that he seemed determined to penalise Wolves whenever he could. One of the oddest reffing displays I've seen in a lifetime of watching football.

Doesn't he claim to be a Luton fan?If we complain they sort of have to. Especially if we point out the cunt is a Villa fan and had a vested interest in us not winning yesterday.
Missed the game last night but just seen the challenge on Cav, was that the leadbitter one? Absolute shocker, so much force and nowhere near the ball, could easily have broken a leg
