Our counters have been terrible. Constantly giving the ball away and not getting up the pitch. Just inviting constant possession and pressure.

That’s been coming. Not sure you can sit back and defend for 95% of the match without conceding against a top side. We’re a lot better than this - I appreciate our usual tactic is to hit teams on the break, but we’ve not shown any interest in having possession and we’ve given them far too much respect so far.

We have been so wasteful with the ball, so many wayward passes, under no pressure too. It was coming. Beano is not playing well, shaw and rashford way too fast for him

Wan Bissaka makes such a difference for them down that side. Much better defender than Ashley Young. Jota has found it much harder to get space and dribble past him.

Doherty doesn't look right. Wan Bissaka been excellent too as had two key interceptions. Utd are opening up and creating a lot of gaps in us and we look a tad slow compared to them.

If Doherty is struggling I would be looking to swap Jonny right and get Vinagre on.

They've been putting much more pressure on us to win the ball back quickly. Makes it very difficult for us unless we're bang on our game. Which we're not so far.
