"Old gold" is the 50s colour allegedly but I'm dubious about that, too.

We definitely never had the supposedly traditional colour in the 70s or 80s.

Lets go all in offensively and dare to play.... haha, just joking this time...have to defend like the hell and maybe create some counters and set pieces...not any hope we will get something this time though, but who knows anything can happen and the ball is round.

We are an overly cautious defensive side set up by an overly cautious defensive manager. Only one way tonight’s game pans out - we defend for our lives and try to keep it 0-0 for as long as possible.

I usually get excited by the prospect of playing one of the top sides, but I’m expecting nothing tonight and am struggling to get enthusiastic for it :(

Only one thing for it. Give the ball to Traore and tell him to run like hell. Set pieces wil be our saviour, and maybe a sending off or two.

I like watching City but at times they are very cynical. I expect to see Traore and Neto manhandled, blocked and pulled back as soon as they get the ball time after time. They know they are our only real threat and will take free kicks in our half and around the halfway line if the alternative is to let them run past a player. Hopefully the referee will take appropriate action and not let it go unpunished as it is well away from goal.

Boly listed amongst the subs. Guess it’s anyone’s guess if he’s fit!

Hoever in at RWB with Semedo ahead of him is a slight concern.

That’s a proper hardcore counter attack side if ever I saw one!

A lot on Hoever, but hopefully Donk will support him.

Not that wild. Pretty much as you’d expect. With Boly not fit and needing legs in midfield then Hoever has to play CB
