No sign of Connor Ronan in the squad . Is he injured does anyone know ?

Surely good enough to be in the squad .

Yep, his loan move will about getting a fee for him next summer

article has him talking about wanting a club where he plays. think he's keen on moving and developing his career.

Thought Ronan would have been involved - maybe he's not match fit.

Looks like he has been out injured. His tweet to his call up for the Ireland U21's

"Connor Ronan
@ConnorRonan10
Buzzing to be back from injury just in time for this one, an honour as always"

He's 23 in March, the rules on U21s are such a mess.

He stays fit he won't be in the unders next time around. Stephen Kenny loves him so first chance he will get he will be in the main squad

Have you ever seen a better 89 than Lenjani though :)

He's up there with the finest 89s to ever grace the field.

Not better than Steve Smith tbf.

A quick round-up from the last couple of weeks as I've been a bit pushed for time.

Morgan Gibbs-White - Swansea City, The Championship

Started the last two games, both wins, in which he's put in strong displays. Involved in a lot of the attacking play, including a peach of a cross for Swansea's opener this weekend.

Ryan Giles - Coventry City, The Championship

A regular starter now for Cov, playing all bar a few minutes for them in a 0-0 draw with Barnsley and 3-1 defeat at home to Bournemouth.

Matija Sarkic - Shrewsbury Town, League One

His loan doesn't get any better: got injured at Plymouth last week and has been replaced by Harry Burgoyne as a result. He did pull off a smart double-stop before that, though.

Rafa Mir - S.D Huesca, La Liga

Not much going on for Rafa. Played 150 minutes in the last two weeks without a goal, assist or barely a shot on target to his name.

Jordao and Leo Campana - Famalicao, Portuguese Primeira Liga

Jordao continued his spell at right-back, playing 85 minutes in a 2-1 win last week, followed by a full game and a booking in a 1-1 draw with Rio Ave. Campana made his debut as a sub in the win, earning himself a starting spot for the next game. He got booked and was subbed after 56 minutes, however.

Tote Gomes, Leo Bonatini and Connor Ronan - Grasshoppers, Swiss Second Tier

Two full games and two wins/clean sheets, 2-0 and 3-0, as Grasshoppers leap to the top of the league. Leo came on as a sub and scored in the 2-0, but then didn't find the mark and was replaced at HT in the 3-0. Ronan made his debut in the second game, coming on for the second half.

Christian Herc - F.C Karvina, Czech Premier League

Seems to be a regular now, starting the last two games, a 0-0 and a 2-0 win, of which he played all but a few minutes.

Jamie Pardington - Dulwich Hamlets, National League South

Made his debut in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup this weekend and became a hero in the process, saving two penalties in the shoot-out vs Corinthian Casuals.

No game: Taylor
Unused sub: Wang

All of these are stuck here for now, the younger ones aren't even playing U23 football at the moment:

Buur, Miranda, Bennett, Sanderson, Ennis.

Time for Seyi to earn his corn over the next 10 days, we don't want them cluttering up the joint. No good for them or us.

I saw that West Ham and Porto are still negotiating over Felipe Anderson - so if Portuguese window is open does that mean they can sign players from our league then???

Think Holland might be the same, so perhaps Buur and Miranda might still leave. Bennett can see moving to a Championship club permanently, while Ennis and Sanderson find loans. Really want Ennis to just go and play regularly without injury, he still has a chance to make something of himself.

I didn't think he had any hand in arranging these loans? Thought it was just a sort of mentoring role, going out to visit them on loan and check on how they were doing etc.

Well you know him well, he never shirks a challenge...
