It’s gone under the radar a bit but they’re 15 games unbeaten in the PL (I heard this on a podcast earlier). They’ve still got a ridiculous pool of talent to call on. I reckon they’ll win comfortably, unfortunately.
Last defeat was on 1 April at Man City.

They lost the game before that too...to a team managed by a Mr G O'Neil.

Konaté is fit again so I'd have thought he'll play with Matip.

Don't forget it was really 2-0 as our 3rd goal didn't count under the following Klopp rule

3.4 - Opposition goals are ignored if they come after an extended period of possession and dominance by Liverpool. Time for P&D must exceed 10 mins for this rule to apply.

It's not O'Neil's fault (or anyone's really, unless you want to be one of those insufferable Twitter thickos who think the authorities have the time or inclination to have an agenda against Wolverhampton Wanderers) but ALL the home games up to December are really tough. And yet it isn't sustainable to lose them all, at some point we have to get some points at Molineux somehow.

You're definitely better off having a go at Liverpool than trying to grind out a 0-0 or 1-0. They'll give you plenty of chances if you attack.

Oh, no doubt!

O'Neil got a few surprise results last season by playing a low block and hitting on the counter, I expect he'll try the same on Saturday.

Do we have the players to play on the counter?

I could see it when we had Adama, peak Raul and Jota but not so much now.

There's only really Neto and that would be asking a lot, unless Bellegarde turns out to be as good as we're all hoping.
#clutchingatstraws.

They had Billing winning just about everything in the air for them, which will have helped. We don’t have anyone who can do that role the same way.

Neto, Cunha and Bellegarde can all dribble and are quick enough to counter. Let's hope they all play if that's what he does.

No idea about Bellegarde but Cunha is pretty much only good on the counter and it's a strength of Neto's. Lemina can drive from deep when space opens up for him as well.

I'm not saying it'll work btw, just that that's what O'Neil might try. That and playing for set pieces. Doyle & Sarabia have excellent delivery, Kalajdzic is an obvious threat, Dawson has a good record of scoring throughout his career and we have a few other big lugs scattered throughout the squad, it won't be long until that's our main tactic going forward.

I keep forgetting about Cunha for some reason.
So the potential to break quick is there.

Yeah they’re just obscene prices, old ground I know but charging £37 for crap seats and £48 for half decent ones.
Only so much that people are really willing to pay and the draw of Liverpool after this being our 6th straight season in the PL is taking liberties by that wanker vinny

Still only available to members though, not general sale. If it was I "might" take my mate who's a plastic Scouser.
