Live Match Discussion 2025/26

Neto now gets himself ridiculously sent off after picking up his first yellow for protesting Arsenals second goal.

3 corners 3 goals, Chelsea should’ve got something from this even after going down to 10 men.

There are so many things that are so odd.

Like Rob going on about how he encouraged Jackson to use his pace and attack the LB at HT on Friday. Yeah, I mean great. But why didn't this happen the day he signed?!
This might be the most annoying bit for me. We’re generally good at identifying players who have done well wherever they were, but so rarely do we try to replicate the circumstances that helped them be effective.

It’s not a hard rule; I’ll go ahead and say “but Marshall” so nobody else can.

I don’t know if they’ll objectively be the worst team to win the league, but Arsenal will surely be the worst team to watch that’s ever won it if they do. It’s genuinely Pulis/Allardyce football but with a higher level of talent in the players.

Matt “The Gopher” Targett silences the boos as he puts Middlesbrough ahead at St Andrews.

He's just scored again too. Some comical defending so far from Blues.

Despite how they did in League One and their fans convincing themselves they would walk the league, they are not very good. On a good run since the start of 2026 but before then their away form was terrible, been very reliant on home form to sustain anything near a playoff push. Been a few games at home they have had the rub of the green with decisions too.

Stansfield has just the 7 goals from open play so far, and only scored once since November.

But Birmingham are pretty well backed, I imagine they will again spend a lot in the summer and be a much different beast next season when we are also in the Champ.

If we are serious about going back up which I think we probably are from an intent perspective, although I doubt the competence is there at any level, then we could probably do with Ipswich grabbing 2nd and Wrexham winning the play offs in terms of threats next season. Blues will throw money around and it wouldn't surprise me if they appointed another name manager.

West Ham leapfrogging Forest as it stands

Fulham doing that annoying thing to spurs. Beat you but lose to a side you need them to beat few days later.

Man City are such pricks. I hate that I want them to win the league seemingly more than half their players

Nice one City, even if they beat Arsenal they’ll need a favour. Arsenal fixtures other than that seem routine so you expect them to win it. By all accounts the game v BHA was hideous again.
Standards in this league have really dropped off massively.
Tottenham are in huge trouble if they don’t win tomorrow.

Only watched after the goal, but Arsenal were happy for Brighton to have the ball. Brigton had a few moments but never really created a clear cut chance. They had one header where if he'd gone accross the keeper he may have scored, few other comofrtable saves for Raya.

City just havent consistently been good enough sadly.

Forest should have won it at the end, sitter from Yates, free header six yards out
