Live Match Discussion 2025/26

Unless it's Kalvin Phillips needing to scoff some Easter eggs down mid-match, I don't see the relevance Alan.

Not taking the moral highground on a club level either as I'm sure our wanker element would do exactly the same.

Its hardly a new thing in football either.

Just highlights the openess that has been created that makes racist ignorant cunts happy to express their feelings.

Elsewhere, who's joining us and Burnley? Spurs have Fulham away and Forest have Brighton away tomorrow.

West Ham in huge trouble if both win.

I think its the bottom 3 as it stands.

West Ham are royally fucked whatever happens due to some mega losses, so will be a lot of outgoings in the summer.

We could get Max back on the cheap....👀

Still has 5 years of his 7 (SEVEN) :D year contract to run

Their remaining games:

Fulham (A)
Man City (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Wolves (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Everton (H)
Brentford (A)
Arsenal (H)
Newcastle (A)
Leeds (H)

Need to win four surely

Would like Forest to go down their behaviour as a club since coming back in 2022 has been embarrassing. 1 good season in the top flight in 30 years and they’ve behaved like billy big bollocks.

I'll give you their fixtures but as we all know, there's no telling what a Vitor team will do (they still have Europe too)

Brighton (A)
Man City (A)
Fulham (H)
Tottenham (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Burnley (H)
Sunderland (A)
Chelsea (A)
Newcastle (H)
Man Utd (A)
Bournemouth (H)

There’s positives to anyone of West Ham, Spurs and Forest going. So I don’t mind.
Spurs would win the league with 100+ points. That's not in our interests. I'd be happy to see either of the other 2 go, but as it's Vitor v Nuno then Forest. I do think if we'd won, like we should have done, last week then there's a real chance it would have been Palace.

This one is seared into my memory (I went, these being the days before it was statistically underlined that if you're traveling to Huddersfield to watch Wolves, you require psychiatric help)

That might also be the worst "leap" I've ever seen from a keeper from whoever it is in nets for Huddersfield, it's hardly a steepling lob from Keano :D )

My one is 12 months earlier, Sheffield United at home, Pytor Kachuro scored an injury time winner after a last minute Thommo equaliser.

Because managers are stupid and just blindly copy trends.

You get teams trying to play out from the back with clogger centre halves and club footed goalkeepers totally ill-equipped for it, or managers saying "hey, three at the back, all the cool kids are doing that, I will" without ever considering how the system actually works.

Managers are almost exclusively former professional footballers, there isn't a weight of intellect there a lot of the time.

Think about how many times a Wolves manager has done something that all of us, the laymen, committed laymen but laymen all the same, can see is obviously not going to work before a ball has been kicked.
I've watched Sunday league teams trying to play out from the back and I have to say that it's hilarious.
