Live Match Discussion 2025/26

Clubs should always have potential replacements in mind, permanently.

If your manager happens to be any good then you're at risk of him leaving for a better/better paid job and if he's crap then you need plans in place.

Even City know that Pep will leave one day so they can't just wait until that day and then go "right then lads, who's next".

Palace seem to be adopting a stance against this....unless I have missed their announcement

They should thank their lucky stars that Textor has done one. He'd have appointed Lage, he loves him.

The game being today is ridiculous anyway, but Pereira has selected a side that'll likely lose which is risky when they still need at least a point to stay up I think. Can see West Ham getting to 40 if they aren't already down by the time they play Leeds, but Forest have the GD

Yes obviously.

That's what I'm saying, I don't expect us to be doing that.

The incompetence is beyond our comprehension.

This lot went back for O'Neill after VP remember, that is the level of planning they had undertaken, re employ the bloke they sacked for being shit less than 12 months prior.

Remember Brighton saying years ago if De Zerbi went they'd already identified 3-4 coaches who played in a similar way and were 'gettable'.

Our approach to recruitment under Fosun has always been chaotic and reactive.

It's the hubris of both him and Emery yesterday.

"Bournemouth won't catch us"

Without saying it out loud. It's more of the negative mindset infecting the game at the moment not "win today and we can go 9 clear of 6th with three to play"

Same with Forest, bought into it being Spurs or Wham.

I hope both get caught. That XI today could easily see the GD they gained at Sunderland get wiped out.

Naturally its 1-0 Forest already

Chelsea are shit with a PE teacher in charge, Forest should be targeting this one.

Son of our old mate Shaun Derry is playing for Chelsea.

Pen to Chelsea. No replay yet but Derry looks in a bad way after the clash of heads
