Taylor ruined it by going for the side foot “hope keeper goes the other way” technique which works less than 50% of the time as you’ve pretty much telegraphed where you’re going. So I have no idea why players keep doing it. If you’re that unconfident just hit it down the middle or just lamp it full stop. Stop picking the safe option which is actually the least safe option

Soft and after the ref lets it slide it’s hard to overturn. But he’s made a challenge from the wrong side making no effort to win the ball. I don’t think anyone thinks it’s not a foul. Completely unnecessary to as the ball had held up and he could have got round and made a genuine challenge
