It's common sense, far from nonsense.
As for the "pre season friendlies" Crusaders I grant you, but if you think the games against Torino were pre season friendlies or that traveling to Armenia wouldn't be knackering I'm not sure what to say.
Oh and Wilson, Almiron and Targett are all out with muscle injuries, Manquillo and Isak with Groin strains...
Ok. So how does he change it?
Yes and the other half aren’t muscle injuries!
Anyway, I couldn’t give a fuck how many injuries they’ve got, or whether it’s unlucky.
The point is, They don’t have the luxury of rotating against AC, Dortmund and PSG (just look at those names compared to ours, seriously…) and they play at a high intensity. They can’t just play low intensity and get results… when the intensity is what makes them way more then the sum of their parts.
If Palhinha wants to defend like that he can play against us every week.Only watching Fulham because i) Raul and ii)hoping Palhinha gets his 5th yellow. They are everything we were for the last couple of seasons -dull, predictable, zero personalities, powder puff up top. Oh, and lucky not to be 3 down
Yep, said as much at the time - we robbed Fulham blind. Not a Premier League player any more.Raúl really should leave England in the winter. He's still intelligent enough to make a positive impact somewhere, but the Prem is just way too much of a physical ask. He just can't keep up with play.
He'll almost certainly have had clubs reaching out from MLS (as I've said before, almost certainly not Liga MX; the clubs that could afford his wages are already maxed out on other expensive imports like Thauvin and Gignac). Which makes me think staying in England was his choice explicitly (more the fool Fulham, ay).Yep, said as much at the time - we robbed Fulham blind. Not a Premier League player any more.
That's a fair point, but money won't solve your perception of yourself."hasn't accepted his limitations"
Nah, he was offered a ton of money to live in one of the world's great cities and sensibly took the opportunity. Can't blame him
Got your wish. Easy money to be made on that bet.Only watching Fulham because i) Raul and ii)hoping Palhinha gets his 5th yellow. They are everything we were for the last couple of seasons -dull, predictable, zero personalities, powder puff up top. Oh, and lucky not to be 3 down
Thing is it's hard to accommodate him because he does virtually bugger all else and runs like an old woman. If only we had a player who could deliver a corner like Ward-Prowse?
Just gets so frustrating after the last five/six years watching the majority being cleared by the first man, I know yeah I'm whinging when we won, but a bigger threat from set pieces would elevate us.Thing is it's hard to accommodate him because he does virtually bugger all else and runs like an old woman.
If Doyle plays then he'll take set pieces for us.
