There's an over confidence in their play which was evident last week. Acting like they can take the piss defensively, bit of a superiority complex going on there
Their high line has always been an issue (see how easily we got in behind them on the last day of last season) but the midfield three today isn't good enough to create, keep the ball and put pressure on United when they don't have it. I'd argue our midfield three on Saturday is better on paper than Liverpools today.
Abandoning that stupid 4-2-2-2 can only be a good thing for them.Big improvement from the red filth, but Liverpool were awful. Interesting to see if United carry that intensity into their next game or just regress back to their usual levels of apathy against lesser famed opposition.
