Let's kick this off for the new season.

And just for Alan, it's MLS. As I'm not well at the moment and it's the temperature of the sun, I'm still up so I've got Inter Miami vs New England Revolution on. Fair to say Phil Neville is not doing too well at the former. Five defeats in a row and they're 3-0 down before half time here. They look seriously bad.

Make that 4-0 before half time. And New England had a goal disallowed for a very tight offside (was off, but Bunbury didn't need to go early) as well.

Schalke vs Hamburg tonight. A shout for being one of the biggest second tier fixtures to ever be played anywhere.

Disappointingly BT don't currently have any 2.Bundesliga games scheduled. Maybe they just haven't sorted a new deal out yet, I would think they'll keep the top flight, no-one else is realistically going to take it.

Miami are a complete disaster from top to bottom.

Serves them right, honestly. It was pretty clear to me from the off that Neville only got the job because he's buds with Beckham.

First team to suffer from the removal of the away goals rule? (As in it wouldn't have gone to extra time otherwise)

No, both games finished 1-1 in 90 minutes

Goncalves just scored a great goal in Portuguese super cup. Good pass by Matheus, who I like the look of. More rounded player than someone like Palhinha

Celtic losing away at newly promoted Hearts going into added time - I don't think their new manager will make it to Christmas in Glasgow, in fact he probably won't last until the clocks go back.

Just seen the Rangers route to the champions league group. Malmö followed by Ludogorets or Olympiacos. That’s not trivial opposition.
