It does look like Kane pushes thiago in the back to me.

It was a light push, but when Kane's arm is extended like that I think it will always look like a push.

Whether it was enough for thiago to go over or not, probably not

I agree, there was one replay angle that clearly showed a hand on his back. It definitely wasn't as obvious from other angles, but definitely there on the one.

VAR would work better if two refs looking independently at footage had a minute and only overturn original decision if both agree. If they can’t do it in a minute it isn’t clear and obvious.

I bet if Tierny hadn’t given foul by Kane there’s little chance VAR would gave overturned it. Oh well, he gets more than his fair share of shit decisions in his favour.

It's pretty easy to tell if the yellow was deserved - if so the player has to be the instigator.

Comoros not having a gk due to injury and covid is a bit of a joke. It’s the only specialist position that you can surely grant an exception to and draft another in? Seems very harsh on Comoros . Seems you can get a prem game postponed through covid and a few injuries but if it’s a national tournament rules us rules.
