Westfalenstadion
ThisFucking love football. There's nothing that comes close at this stage of the season
God, you kidding? Give me this type of shit every day of the week.Al, do you think a final day like this is more dramatic than say a super bowl? Gotta be for me. In the nfl it all obviously leads up to that as a defining moment, but in football it's pretty rare in any one league I think. In the PL we had it in that Mancini year and then in the United vs West Ham/Blackburn vs Liverpool year, and God knows when before that. Obviously we had it in the Wrexham/County sitch this year too. Always seems like on that last day, the title seems to switch hands as well, it's never just a routine 'the two teams at the top both win comfortably' situation. Fucking ridonk
United's treble year went right to the end and they were 1-0 down to Spurs for a while.In the PL we had it in that Mancini year and then in the United vs West Ham/Blackburn vs Liverpool year, and God knows when before that.
@Del Woppio
Since you asked about Final Day drama, it reminds me that I really landed on Wolves as my club precisely because of the emotions surrounding it. It was Stephen Hunt's goal against Blackburn and the subsequent reaction in the stands (me: "why's everyone going so nuts? They're still losing?") that really sold me.
I've probably told that story before but not really pieced together the Final Day spice.
