How on earth is Maguire the captain?.... Oh sorry, he's a warrior, our man in the trenches who can head it away... Only one problem with that, Sevilla are playing it on the ground around the tugboat.

Whoever told him he was good on the ball needs to take a serious look at themselves.

As a Berra style head it and kick it centre half he'd be fine for a mid table team. But no, pretend you're peak Fernando Hierro.

The way Sevilla step up in the Europa League is really something. Man U made Betis look like absolute jokers last round and also beat Barca, you wouldn't have any idea Sevilla are 13th and having their worst season in years based off their performances here.

If they line up like this against us I'll be sorely disappointed if we don't go at them. Same catastrofuck defence, if Rashford's not in the form of his life they're nowhere

I fancy Brighton to beat them in the semi for sure

Inexplicable as it may be to Robbie Savage, and garbage as Utd have been, it’s possible Sevilla have been alright…

For sure, but we won't be playing them anytime soon.

Was Bono in goal when we played them? Can't remember if it was him who saved Raul's penalty

Lop must find Molineux pretty dull after managing in this stadium!

You make me remember what a clown I was when young… When I lived in Sevilla I decided I’d follow Betis as the alleged working class team. I missed out on the Pizjuan atmosphere in exchange for Denilson and Oliveira sacking it off every other week, duped by an urban myth put about by the TEFL community (one aided somewhat by bowling ball headed posh twat Del Nido still running Sevilla back then). Hope they’re still on a roll when I’m over there at the end of May for a game to make amends :)

I'm looking at a European break, apparently you can't beat Sevilla this time of year...

Absolutely! Such an amazing city and loads to see nearby too if you have a day or two extra. Cordoba and Jerez easy trips. But let’s not let this thread get off track from the core purpose of laughing at Man U and Paul Scholes continuing to need to point out that they are, in fact, the better team.

Lovely city too!

I was there a few years ago when Celtic were playing Porto in the UEFA Final and the city was green and white. Had a few nice visits to Seville

Agree about Seville, much of Andalusia is lovely. Been going around Seville, Cordoba, Malaga, Granada this past week (and caught some football). Great region to travel for sure. Seen a fair few Man United fans around too, bet they haven't enjoyed their trip as much as me!

This Sevilla team isn't that good, weakest team in quite some time especially with how the defence was gutted. Impressive how they've pulled things together for the Europa League. Wouldn't be shocked if they win it (again).
