I think for the 3rd time in 5 seasons we'll be away to a team on the final day of the season with a theoretical chance to win the league and for the 3rd time they won't

Theoretically doesn’t change anything City still need to win their game in hand and beat Arsenal. Nevertheless Arsenal are choking badly now.
Changes a lot though in reality. Take a lot out of Arsenal mentally. Particularly the manner of dropping points, 2-0 up twice, missing a penalty, lucky not to lose to Liverpool. Allows City to drop points too and still have it in their own hands.

And Are Arsenal really going to beat all of Newcastle, Brighton and Chelsea? Plus who knows what mood we will be in on the last day. Plenty of players will want to rub their nose in it after last season, Neves (and others) will be bang up for it on their potential last game, others will still have points to prove.

Think City get it done even with a draw against Arsenal. City win and Arsenal will fall away.

Looks like Forest's luck has run out.

You've got to think that gurning gargoyle Forest have for manager is on his way out.

Was reading a report yesterday that was on about Lage being linked Ronaldo's club in Saudi....turns out Forest approached Lage to replace Cooper but he was reluctant to take the job so they kept the manager in place.

The words frying pan and fire spring to mind...

I'd have thought that most of us were better than casting aspersions on someones abilities based on how they look tbh.

Cooper isn't a terrible manager/coach. He coached the u17s to a world cup win.
IMO he's not done too badly, given having the majority of his championship team taken away, and a significant rebuild. It can't have been easy to do.

I get people not liking things he says or does. That is partially related to his ability/knowledge. But attacks based on how he looks aren't appropriate imo.

I can't imagine he had much to do with 70% of that recruitment either tbh, he was properly plopped into a really difficult situation to manage (much like Potter at Chelsea) with a 1st team playing staff that's nearly twice the size as it is for most clubs. I don't mind him at all tbh, but accept that a lot of that is probably down to always wanting young(ish) British coaches to do well in the PL

It's like being back in the 70/80s in my youth.

Did y’all get the anti-marijuana “this is your brain on drugs?” ads in the late 90s/early 00s?

Swap the frying egg for a picture of Cooper. Twice as scary. Makes me wanna dump all my weed right now.

bill hicks did a great skit on that one @Alan
I don't remember it myself, but Bills take on it is burned into my brain.

I wasnt really intending to criticise his appearance, more the fact he looks absolutely baked every time I see him.

It’s beyond that, even; there is something genuinely unsettling about his eyes.

You and all others who pulled me up on this are absolutely right and I apologise for my post and regret it really, its an uncharacteristic lapse of standards on my part.

What I should have said and what I meant is that given the inane, incoherent drivel that he spouts during interviews it is apparent that his intellect, charisma and dashing good looks are perfectly intertwined.

Phew, I think I've rescued things...
