It also looks like 80 points might be needed to even make the playoffs. Insane League this year.

Nah, won't be that high. 7th gets you in (I quite like the system, finishing higher gets you a reward), Eastleigh are currently there on 60 points with 8 to play. Very much doubt they're getting 20 points. No-one below them is any closer than 5 points (although as ever, plenty have games in hand).

I'm still bitter about us getting 78 points and not even finishing 6th in 2014/15. Shouldn't be possible. We got 76 in 1994/5 and 1996/7, finished 4th and 3rd.

So I know there are multiple documentaries/features I could watch, but I assume they'd be biased.

What's the English/Welsh perspective on Wrexham at the mo?

Plenty of teams at that level have been financially doped before, so meh. Bit daft that it's a free for all below League Two and suddenly you have to abide by FFP as soon as you go up...so you end up front loading recruitment and distorting the picture even more, but that's where we are. It's why you get a lot of teams that go up into L2 and do well.

Good luck to them, they're a good team. If they go up then I would expect them to be playoffs minimum next season.

Ryan Reynolds isn't *that* famous here and I don't even know who the other guy is. It's not like Tom Cruise or Will Smith taking over a team.

I guess that makes sense. Basically exactly what happened with FGR (who are insultingly bad at the moment, it must be said), come to think of it; guess it didn't stick out the same since the ownership wasn't quite so out of left field AFAIK.

Was at Meadlow Lane last night and Eastleigh only went ahead after a shocking penalty call by the referee although he evened it up in the second half with another dodgy call.

Second game I have seen of theirs this season and both times they have been head and shoulders above the opposition in quality and style of play. Will be a shame if they don't go up but some of their fans are incredibly entitled so would provide some amusement!

How high do you reckon Langstaff could play?

I've only seen his goals but I've seen full games of Mullin, he's League One at very least.

He's a strange one really - doesn't get involved in the play at all but presses really well all game and just has that knack of being in the right place at the right time to score.

Ruben Rodrigues is by far and away their best player - he should be looking for a League One or lower Championship move next season if he wants to stay in England.

Woah, you leave Rob McElhenny out of this. He’s great in it’s always sunny.

McElhenny and Reynolds seem pretty grounded for a couple of sickeningly rich guys.

Wrexham fans deserve this moment. Some proper dodgy owners in the past. 1 with a similar outlook as the Bhatti's had with us.

Deadpool and his mate have been great. Gone full in on the community aspect of the club. Obviously having money and being good helps but they are taking the whole town on the journey.

Ryan Reynolds is almost an A-lister now in Hollywood. Not a megastar by any means but I'd think he's pretty well known.

Of course people know who he is, but if you asked a thousand random people in the UK to name 10 current actors, I doubt he'd score very highly.

He's not a megastar here by any stretch at all.

Yeah, thats fine - he's famous and all but it doesn;t make your average person care about Wrexham. From talking to my colleagues they DO care. Which is frankly weird.

If you’re below 30 he’s almost certainly well known here considering his Deadpool, wolverine work etc I still associate him with van Wilder. He was the face of BT broadband also for a while. Plus also need to consider how many high profile relationships he’s had which will also propel you up a few notches.

Wasn't he in some sit com, summat to do with pizza and girls? My kids used to watch when they were teenagers.

Interesting team from Klopp

4213 with 2 CMs who can't run and a RB who can't defend. I admire him going for it, as he's picked a team that can get the miracle, but if Madrid want it, they could get absolutely slapped
