Watching Notts County v Dagenham.

Mental game, and being played like a last day must win game for Notts. Wave after wave of attacking at 1-1 with time running out, so many last ditch blocks and missed chances, goal-line clearances, two dodgy decisions denying then penalties, and then suddenly Dagenham break 4 on 4 and fire one into the roof of the net.

Mad stuff.

Whilst I really like Lopetegui, I'm intrigued by his 100% continuous issuing of instructions from the touchline, do any of the players running past him think, "Oh yes, thanks, that's good idea, I'll do that/go over there etc".
Potter is the same type, doing his semaphore arm signals and strident shouting.... does any one listen?
Or is a lot of it for the camera? Which by the way Silva yesterday reall doesn't subscribe to that. Just stands there like Nigel Clough frowning and shaking his head.

Think this is possibly good, creative use of VAR by the individuals involved within the strange rules set out for it. VAR could only enforce a red when nothing was given on the pitch so they make that call in order to give the on field ref the opportunity to knock that back to a yellow, which 8 think is the right punishment, rather than just him get away with it all together.

Looks arse about face but the right decision in the end for me, whether by hook or crook is up for debate.

Well the foul isn’t remotely a yellow unless it’s accumulation.

Then Ziyech is no different to Lenglet and Emerson Royale being a twat.

Kane’s shoulder on Kepa also more violent.

I don't think Dier should be penalised for a foul there, but I've seen VAR give ones like that a number of times
