Knee was given offside from the lines I think. The ball was headed backwards by Emerson until it hit the Sporting player and deflected to Kane too.

The travel of the ball doesn’t make a difference. Learnt that from one of the other VAR farces (just when the ball goes backward the player is 99% of the time behind the passer). But surely on this one some part of Emerson is ahead of Kane? Need to see where they’ve taken the first line from

He’s behind Emerson but an inch ahead of the ball! Again wouldn’t normally be a factor from a pass but from the header in the centre of the body it is.

Yeah he made the right decision. I’ve seen them let it go before though so I think there must be some discretion.
